if you go to the site that posted the article there is a video of an xbox one not turning on at all.
EDIT!!! read carefully on the site there is another video showing an xbox one that wont turn on i repeat will not turn ON it flashes white and shuts off

reviewers have been saying its about 4-5 hours not 8-10 hours
It will depend on the room temperature the tests are taken in for both consoles if your room temp is say 36℃ the console it's self will run hotter than it does at 20℃. It will also require more energy to try and keep it run cooler so it will be louder this goes for both consoles!
If you convert what it's costs to make in $ to £ it costs £237 to make so in theory for every ps4 sold in UK when released they make a profit of £113 off every sold ps4 in the uk
Updateing a tv's firmware can resolve some of the issues
always risky ordering online, got a TV hdmi port and fell out and screen smashed from delivery. computers that have been delivered with a account on them already rendering it utterly useless. game discs snapped. the only good delivery was they sent 2 of the same surround systems so got one free aha
you can turn the camera mic off, go into settings and switch the eye/chat function off
It looks like they have been digging their finger nails into them, I've never had a analog stick wear down ever on Xbox or PlayStation controllers the only way they lost rubber is when I used to stick my nails into them and pick at them
The Xbox one will still need to install the high res 720p textures lol and will roughly take about the same time
its the firmware thats causing the issues that have been reported so far apart from kotakus which was due to a bent hdmi pin
dont risk it for the moment wait until there is like version 1.53 update which will fix these issues. this is the only upside for it releasing later in the uk because stuff like this should be ironed out within a few weeks. in the mean time hope this doesnt become to widespread
upscaling causes more jaggies therefore needs to use more resources to get rid of the aliasing therefore taking a bigger hit on performance so it would still run at 30fps with a overall worse image quality
