Uncharted 2 is an amazing game, with equally amazing graphics...but it's as linear as they come, so there's really no draw distance to speak of.

BTW...even on Ultra Spec, the game isn't as technically impressive as some PS3 exclusives...and in the facial animation dept., L.A. Noire kicks it's arse. So don't be so quick to harvest any vital organs just for the extra DX11 features. ;)
I've already been playing The Witcher 2 on my 360....well, actually more like my XBOX 720. PC, on Ultra Spec, with my wireless 360 controller = the perfect marriage. :D

I guess Kojima and Co. have never done viral marketing, teasers of teasers, announcements of announcements, etc. What about Sony and their 1st party studios? Yes and yes. EA? Yup...all the time. Hell, it's really common now, in fact...yet this moron decides to call out MS/Epic on it, because...well, it's a MS exclusive, obviously.

...there are no slim Blu-Ray drives in existence. That fact alone kills this idea. If it were a digital-media only version of the PS3, then it could be done....but then it really wouldn't be a PS3.
Considering the entire HDTV market is in a race to see who can make a paper-thin TV first (Samsung is in the lead, so far), I think that would be a huge step back. You don't just "stick" a gaming console inside a flat panel HDTV.

XBLA titles are no longer just small casual games...many are full, retail-style games, like Section 8. The download limit for XBLA games is 2 GB now, which is about 1/3 of the average retail game on 360. Given the way Remedy handled the AW DLC, I could see them creating a very high quality game for XBLA. The best part is, they don't have to worry about used sales or piracy hurting them this time.

...during Holiday '07 (down for many, I should say). MS offered Undertow as a free download for the inconvenience, and those who'd bought it already were pissed. I didn't care, because 1.) Live was never down for me...not for a single day, and 2.) I hadn't bought Undertow yet, so I happily grabbed it for free (kinda sucked honestly).
But the thing that makes this different, is pretty huge: ALL PSN users were affected by this downtime, and for MUCH longer. ...
