It doesnt matter whether people will use it as a game device or movie player, PS3 can do both, that is what important. A potential movie audience can become a gamer if he/she wants to or vice versa, its not like they dont have a choice between playing game or watching HD movie.
The most important aspect that any marketers is looking at is that any PS3 owner can be a potential Blu-ray buyer regardless of whether they buy it for gaming or not.

I live in Portland, OR and locating a 360 isnt much of a problem over here Gamestop downtown still has many 360 in stock..... beside, MS can divert its supply from Japan you know... its not that 360 is selling like hot cake over there.
