They barely announce anything long before they actually do it (except games). Think about how stubborn they kept quiet about Dualshock 3. We never know what they will announce in the next couple of months.
Silent Hill series lost it scary factor every new release, (IMO) I hope the newer and more persuasive graphic will add more realism and scary element into horror gern.

Btw, I am fan of Magic the Gathering, yes I've spent thousand on MtG (also by wizard of the coast) I want to see card games like MtG or Yuki on Eye of Judgment too.
Microsoft and Nintendo also got sued but they all settled with certain $$$, If I'm not mistaken, MS paid Immersion for about $98 million to settle the case, while Nintendo paid an undisclosed amount. Sony's lawyers somehow think that they can win the case and decide to stand and fight, and they lost. Well, Sony pay the price in the end.
People will have no objection on swapping DVD, thats for sure. However, this mean that manufacturing cost will go up significantly (not the cost of DVD, but cost of writing data onto the DVD) and this is in 2nd years of xbox360 life time, what will happen 3 years from now?

It looks like the sort of game for the whole family to enjoy, I bet they will incorporate this game to home, sort of like taking picture in Afrika then put in on your space in Home as decoration or something.
However, graphic is pretty amazing, the hair on giraffe and lion look like real hairs and not texture paste on polygon.
The thing is, EU zone use PAL while US use NTSC. So whatever the people from EU side d/l from US store, it wouldnt run on their TV. That's goes the same way with people in US trying to d/l EU server contents.
