Is totally the right call. Xbox cannot even deal with normal gaming. They are last in the market. The games they have been releasing are trash. They would do even worst on VR.
On the other hand, Sony took the risk and despite the competition from oculus and HTC, they took and dominated the VR market.
It had its problems but overall it was a good experience. Way better than that crackdown 3 garbage.
Back then I remember the media was unforgiving with this game but now with the horrible crackdown 3 they are asking you to forget about polish, lower your standards and mature, and please enjoy it as it is.

Microsoft is struggling with normal gaming. There is no way they can venture into VR. They just cannot handle it right.

You don't need to be concerned about Sony and Nintendo. They have a strong position in the market and strong exclusive software to back them.
You should be worry about Xbox since being the weakest of the competitors and with no compelling exclusive software, they can easily be affected by another competitor in the market.
Because EA has no passion for Star Wars at all. They only see the money. A soulless company like EA will produce only soulless Star Wars games.
The licence must go to some developer with real passion.
