I rather pay $60 for quality software than a cheap subscription with low quality games as state of decay 2, crackdown 3 and sea of thieves.
Buying new studios doesn't mean they will have good games. Buying a studio and creating good games are 2 different things.

This is why BC on Xbox one was not a turning point plus they were using BC to try to hide the fact that they didn't have any compelling exclusives games while Playstation gamers had the best exclusives to play and didn't care to play old games at all.
When Sega went software only, they had good games to offer but Microsoft is not in the same position. Apart from Forza, everything are just low rated games.

With games like RE7, Moss and Astro Bot I turned into a VR believer. VR has higher inmersion but as any new technology, it is still in its first steps.
That's why I am very exited about PSVR 2. I hope Sony can give us the next step in VR.

What happened to Windows Phone when its exclusive apps started to appear on Android and iPhone? It was the nail in the coffin. The same will happen to the Xbox hardware once Microsoft starts putting its games on other systems.
