Exactly. I love WoW just as much as i love Breath of the Wild, KOTOR, Witcher 3 and Last of Us and many other singleplayer games that have been released since then.
I've never been conflicted about either of these type of games they coexist in my head.

But then the question is can you play Doom on the go on a train with the ps4/xbox/PC? Without it being cumbersome like a laptop needing a mouse or a controller.
A laptop? Lool what you take a mouse with you on the train? Or a Xbox one controller? Or are you using the mouse pad to aim? Lool incredibly cumbersome compared to the portability of the Switch.
A laptop is not even comparable especially at the price of £279.

From gameplay vids I suggest you lower your expectations. Cause it’s not lookin half as good as any of the mentioned games.
The obvious answer is they need more revenue. So by putting something that gives the paying player an edge it will provide more turnover for the company.
It’s a free to play game so they have every right to do this if they want.
I don’t play free to play games mainly cause of these type of micros.
