The game just needs a good story to keep you playing and wondering why ( see Horizon Zero Dawn). They got the rpg elements, engine and all the other stuff figured out. Just tell a story that people actually want to see how it ends.
Yes it unlocks the power to turn water to wine. You can play the whole game in drunken haze. Be careful though, the power to walk on water is obtained later so don't mistake water ways for walkable paths.
Sony just needs to fix backward compatibility. Ps makes the most money for the company so they need to just go all in. Would love to play boosted old games like you can on x/s.
I actually think the real value is the bc. playing the whole 360 library with added fidelity, frame rate, hdr, resolution and faster load times was the game changer for me. I mean for sony if the videogames is your biggest money maker...why not add it regardless. Dead space trilogy, deux ex and many others that others would play and love are just forgotten. I agree on the bc. PlayStation is the only thing that makes Sony money period. The Ps5 should have bc even if you say you don't play old games.
They could print money with proper back compat. Games are already made. They just really under delivered. Enhanced ps3 games would've been awesome.
Well they should've solved it a while ago. That would've added a ridiculous amount of value to the console. Idk. MS is touting all the hardware features, coupled with bc, then the added game pass. They really knocked.it.out of the park with xsx. I mean we haven't heard a peep from Sony...even about it's capabilities. They have found themselves in a very weird place.
An emulator would take very little work. They already have some pretty good ones already made. They just improve upon them time. The bc is the true value of console at this point and is xsx is waaaay more bang for buck. The ps360 was the golden age of gaming. And since playstation is the only thing that makes Sony money, they should've went all out in the beginning.

Probably not enough ps5s to play it. So just waiting. That's the smart thing to do especially if a game is mediocre. You don't want a handful of people to play it and tell the truth and then when ps5s are readily available no one gets it. Kind of like returnals reasons. Just my humble opinion.
