Yep, I really wanted to like gta4, but it never grew on me. Hated niko and his bothersome cousin. The driving was too heavy for my liking, felt like boats on ice. It just wasn't fun.
First time I played gta5 I knew the magic was back, with more still to come!

What a worthless review. Why keep mentioning a game that so many gamers might not have played to bash a new ip? Dark souls is "hardcore" until you are one shotting bosses as well ign. There isn't a single npc in the souls series to care about as well, story is there if you dig for it.
This is why reviews should be trashed, can't even tell me about a game on its own merits, constantly comparing it to a game so many might not have played or even liked.
Any game that has character customization will get first look over a game that does not for me. Really looking forward to DA, sorry shadow might get around to you next year, maybe.

Except most of the playtime in the souls series is due to farming for items/gear. Also, the souls can be completed in less time
Completely worthless. They used to at least give you a gauge of how far along the game you were, but now most are "hidden", erasing their one saving grace.
We used to get in-game items. That's dlc now. In-game we get a ding now. Yep, great trade off.

Agreed. Still can't believe there are players wasting time on these worthless things. They add NOTHING to the in-game experience. It's a lazy way for devs to offer "replayability" without having to do any work to make multiple playthroughs interesting.
The added stuff you USED to get for doing these asinine activities is now being sold to you as dlc. And all the while these players are praising getting ripped off.

You can switch anytime at the press of a button so yea, I'll be using it, all depends on the situation. Close quarter Fire fights? No doubt. Air dog fights? Yep. Racing? Nope, I like seeing my actions while driving. And so on, all depends on what im doing....
