Both. An app on your phone could be used to scan 3 hidden MS tags from your TV and you'd get stuff like a free Xbox profile picture and stuff like that. Go to about 2:15 in the video.

The first game had a mini feature that almost nobody knew about where you could use a scanning app on your phone at certain points to scan a code to get extra content. I wonder if this has anything to do with something like that.
I only came across a hacker who abused the game on the 360 once out of hundreds of games played. The rest of them just used it to alter the color of their names which is something you can do in Black Ops now anyways. The whole "hackers are everywhere and taking over" thought is over exaggerated, even on a console that's been broken in to for years.
I'd actually go with the 360 version because while I was playing it, I could talk to my friends on party chat like I do almost any time I'm on it. Not having Kratos wouldn't mean much to me.
Remedy has the game engine worked out, they've already written the script for the second one and Remedy is confirmed to be working on a AAA Xbox exclusive game. Most likely it's Alan Wake 2.
Alan Wake 2 - YES.
Lost Odyssey 2 - YES
PGR5 - Meh
Halo 1 Reboot - Between Meh and Yes
Crackdown 3 - Meh
Too Human 2 - No
Fable 4 - NO!
Kameo 2 - Meh
Shadow Complex 2 - Meh
New IP - Sure why not.
I would only buy 3 out of the 10.
Day 1 pickup for sure. Can't wait to slay me some dragons.
"It's destructoid. When have they ever given a fair, reasonable review to a big Ps3 game?"

"Jim sterling is not a critic... he's ...
@Alpha
Alpha, your level headedness is a shining example that I wish more people on this website would have.
As for Sterling, it's a not really a secret that people who even take the time to complain about review scores, are somewhat the target for his work (because they make it so easy for him), but he does give fair points for games and gives a different perspective to what other corporate gaming websites do. To most people, they either love him or hat...
Yes, this is why they have nothing on their site except video game related news and content. Totally not a video game website.
@TLG1991
A review is someone's overall opinion of the various aspects of a game. You're not going to get an objective review because that's not possible for any reviewer to do.
And where did he say that wasn't going to like the game going into it? Did you even read the whole review because it looks like you're just making stuff up.
And of course if a review isn't exactly how you want it to go, then all of a sudden th...
Except he gives reasons for why it was scored that way which included, unlike SMG2, little improvement to the controls or the flaws of the previous game. He still calls it a good game and the whining over a measly 1.5 point difference won't alter the enjoyment of anyone who bought the game based on their experience with the last one.
Aka don't go "Wah!" someone doesn't review a game the way you don't want it to be reviewed.
"2nd of all, the product really doesn't have enough quality software support (yet) to warrant such an expensive purchase! "
Yeah I remember when people were talking about the PS3 around its launch too.
Considering that making a game in the current generation of consoles takes much more work than the previous generation, it makes sense why a new game has been slower to have details revealed than before. The amount of detail that Rockstar puts in the GTA games is staggering and then considering they made the DLCs, which added a fresh perspective to the game btw, the answer is pretty obvious.
Putting dramatic music in a cutscene driven trailer doesn't automatically mean the story will be good or any more interesting than the previous game, though that wouldn't be hard to do since Killzone 2 already had an uninteresting story, and a boring/stereotypical cast of military characters on top of its other flaws (stiff gameplay, and lack of stable multiplayer early on.)
Will Killzone 3 be better as a whole? I'd hope so since the team behind it will hopefull...
Another example of the potential behind Kinect's technology outside of gaming.
It's way too early to say that they're "giving up" on core gaming, but this is a step in the wrong direction for those gamers. By the end of next year, it'll be easier to see whether MS is going to go full casual or not, but again, it's simply too early to say anything in that regard.
However, Kinect has already sold a lot of units and the general buzz is that it's outselling the Move. If that's the case, then that means MS will be still ...
Weak overall list. It truly is the year of the multiplat game for me.
The person who disagreed with you doesn't think you are. Strange how people start thinking they know what's best for other gamers. BTW, you should start wearing more red. That's the "in" color this year.
You're assuming way too much contrary to what's actually happening. What he released is made for homebrew and even he says he didn't enable the capability for you to pirate games with it because that's something he doesn't support.
And he specifically never asked for donations because of this code being released. He's had a donation option open before that point already.
This is a bad move for Sony because #1 he apparently didn't...
