I enjoyed reading that. It is refreshing to see an article from a largely one console-exclusive website praising games that are on other platforms. Both in magazines and on the Internet there is a lot of bickering and childishness from not only random interney users, but also from writers. It's just nice to read something different.
[Quote from Raztad] "Most probable one exclusive game per platform, so he can take advantages of the hardware."
I don't know. ...
Kojima doesn't want the puzzle to be solved until E3. All he is doing is amusing himself by watching everyone (including me) try to guess what the hell everything means. It keeps us talking, and keeps us interested, meaning the E3 announcement will no doubt receive even more hype than it normally would.
I have to say though if Kojima is just messing with us and there's no MGS announcement, I'm going to be mad. :-)
N4G is used way too much by small time bloggers who feel the need to post their useless opinions to the masses. There's way too much of this, where some people that don't know a single person in the game industry feels the need to write a pointless blog and put it on N4G for a couple of hits, by making a news grabbing title.
I seriously love the MGS series, but even I think we should just wait for E3, it's becoming a joke.
Why the hell does every idiots opinion suddenly become a rumour?
How does the image of Big Boss mean straight away we should look forward to a Metal Gear remake?
I mean, it would be great if it were ture, it's something I'd like. And who knows, it may be true. But this is just pure speculation and opinion and if it turns out to be true, this guy has still only guessed.
Kojima has said he won't work on Metal gear remakes anyway, though wouldn't mind a di...
Aside from the fact that a disc that size just won't be needed...don't Samsung and Sony work closely together anyway?
Still, if they're developing it they'll have some sort of need for it. I can hardly imagine M$ saying "Okay, an expensive 12TB disc has been made...now what can we use it for?". They'll having something in mind if (and that's a big if) the rumour is true.
So if the sales are between 57000-74000 than that means that Halo 3 didn't necessarily sell more, just probably did.
either way who cares. Both great games for different consoles.
I liked Fallout, not too bothered by the DLC but it's something good for PS3 fans. I have no idea why suddenly DLC is used in fanboy wars.
I may buy them of course, depending on the pricing (not looked at it yet). Not a chance am I paying the price equivalent of a new game for 5 pieces of DLC.
I think its a ridiculous idea. I think that Zelda certainly needs updating as it is starting to look a bit outdated compared to some other games now. However, changing the series to first person IMO is the lazy was of updating the game. We want expansion, not drastic change.
Of course we can never tell how a First Person Zelda game would be until we'vep layed it, but I don't think it will work out.
I'm not too interested in the game really, may pick it up eventually (on PS3) and see it as being quite cruel by Sony, having announced it so close to the release.
But I have to admit I'm finding it absolutely hilarious. Gaming sites complaining in mass numbers. All that has happen is Sony have got timed exclusivity of a game in one territory. I doubt they wanted to annoy the PAL 360 owners, that's just a side effect.
Microsoft have announced things like previous PS3 exclus...
I knew FF games shifted a lot in Japan but purely for a demo? Damn, I'll be interested in the sales for its full release now...
You know, I can come up with a list to make TESV more to my liking. I lvoed Oblivion, and I liked Fallout 3 a lot (preferred Oblivion). But the second they put a VAT combat system in the Elder Scrolls will be the second I switch off.
Don't even put it as an option...it just doesn't suit The Elder Scrolls games.
To be honest I find it sad that people care. It's nice to be proud of your country but to be so proud things like this annoy you is just odd. Murray doesn't play tennis for Scotland, he plays it for himself and for money.
It's a mistake that will no doubt be corrected, so people really shouldn't make a fuss. If I were working at SEGA I'd just re-label the guy as Chinese to have a laugh and make light of the situation.
To be honest it's been rumoured for a long time that the game isn't exclusive so it's no surprise.
People are a little desperate to write an article when nothing has been announced...and they're just going on a patent.
For a start-better graphics won't be too hard. I liked the Warhawk graphics, but they're not award winning.
Personally I'm wondering how they'll do ground combat, because I wouldn't be interested in a flight-only game which this may become. Though I'm not going to write any articles on it until I've seen some screenshots or a trailer...
It's nothing to do with fear, it's to do with sales. I'll no doubt get both eventually (though only one on launch, not sure which yet).
Chances are that Sony leaked a dud release date for InFamous, so when the Prototype date was announced, they could get the upper hand.
The title is just a complete flame bait too, the article has little to do with that.
Both interest me, I'm a little worried the powers in InFamous may become repetitive, though regardin...
Why do some 360 fans combat this with sales figures?
360 could be selling a million more a month than the PS3 but that's not bringing in any extra games this year.
After so many delays, it appears Sony has a good 2009/2010 line-up though i'd be surprised if Microsoft are just going to lie down. They'll combat it with some decent games no doubt and even if it is less games than the PS3 is getting-it's not as though 360 owners will be left in the dark for the next year o...
The PS3 line-up of 2009 is amazing, and I reckon a fair few will leak into 2010.
Microsofts line-up seems a little quiet this year so no doubt there will be a fair few good titles coming to the 360, but the PS3 will give it some competition. Sony has a huge 1st Party and they're taking a while to make games so just like Microsoft, Sony will have a few announcements no doubt (though maybe less).
Gran Turismo 5 for example I doubt will come this year, and i'll be very su...
@XLiveGamer
No, of course not. But the games would certainly make for a good comparison to show just how big the difference is. If you played the PS2 version you'd be disappointed if you saw how good the PS3 version looked. Everyone knows the PS3 has superior graphics, but a game like GT5 which has fantastic graphics will show the difference is massive.
I could happily play my PS2 games all day and not care about the graphics. But if someone showed me Dark Chronicles...
At the same time though, Sony will get money, and people playing the PS2 version will realise how much better the PS3 version is.
A good move would be a few months delay so GT5 comes out on PS3, then 6 months down the line, comes out on PSP and maybe PS2.
It's a bit of a slap in the face to PS3 fans if it is exclusive (purely because a lot may have bought the console for the MGs series and MGS4). If it's multi-platform then who cares, we all get to enjoy the game.
Aside from the exclusovoty question, my only worry is about the gameplay considering Raiden is a Ninja.
