I loved both.
Starship Troopers
Yeah, really a weird one this time. Best CoD in awhile out of the gate, but the updates haven't really been that great. Lots of rehashing old stuff.
Squid Game crossover is fine. But like the show, it's not really worth constant replays.
Anast,
You don't know more nor better than people who have been in the industry since the 1980s.
"Move the goalposts" refers to changing the criteria needed to make an argument.
AAA didn't refer to gaming until the 1990s. The people who have worked in the industry before that time are taking about the origin of AAA.
Just because you had an erroneous understanding of the term doesn't mean the term meant something different back then. These people know what they're talking about.
Maybe you should have read wha...
He didn't read the article. They talk about the terms origin and how it didn't refer to games until the 90s.
It's interesting to see that AAA was an investment term before it became what it is today. I remember even the early days, no one referred to Super Mario Bros. as AAA or Donkey Kong on Colecovision as AAA.
It was a stupid term.
I get hyped for any new IPs, especially when studios are taking risks.
This is my hobby and I'll reward studios for doing that. I've gotten to play some amazing games that way.
I've also gotten to play some unique ones too because they were little known or just misunderstood.
I've played a few stinkers too, but hey, I can't fault someone for trying something new.
Also, York Reacts* YouTube broke d...
But they got you to click, didn't they?
Just keep putting "Concord" on any gaming news and voila, instant click.
What a tiny man to be offended by a comparison to the world's most lovable bear.
No. That must be on your end.
He didn't have a choice who the award went to.
That said, it was tragically ironic. And hey Nintendo didn't lay off. Which means I will be supporting them in 2025.
It's not going to be Half Life 3. Cry all you want. Valve doesn't make trilogies.
It may be a new Half Life game, like Half Life Alyx, which everyone claimed was Half Life 3.
I want to be wrong. I played Half Life at launch. But it's not happening.
It's the same industry. What magic did this major company use?
Higher ups took pay cuts rather than lay people off?
So what saved jobs was the opposite of greed.
It was clickbait when it was submitted. I ignored specifically because of that.
IGN
I believe you're right in the same way people giving it a 4 or 5 or of 10 did the same.
This score, which I don’t agree with balances those out. The game sits at almost an 8 here. Which is a solid game.
But that doesn't fit his narrative.
I played this one and it is the best one in years, but a game breaking bug ruined it and I've moved on. (Loadout reset glitch)
I'm hoping Battlefield makes a comeback.
And a PC release
