They could call it Dickey Rats Amusement World.
Better than New Vegas.
Why not both? Would love a start in New Orleans and then head east to Wasteland Disney.
I need to look into this. Project Cars is still on my watch list.
The reality is that, maybe I just want Burnout Paradise Updated for new gen consoles. Something to sit on the couch and just have fun.
I would love that. Criterion remakes it and adds some more real estate with the same amount of fun.
If we did, I would be first in line to go get it.
Plus updating all of those PS3 and PS2 games for the PS4, just isn't in the works. And, I would think that if it were, it would be headed multiplatform.
You must really have server issues if they can't handle a one page article that must be parsed over 10+ pages.
Or is this just clickbait?
OT: I knew almost every one of those games was coming out next year. But only three of them seem to be something worth looking into. (Hellblade, Factorio, and Fortnite.)
Already bought one and a ton of games for the holiday.
I think they believe that if they repeat it enough times it becomes true.
This is the mantra of the delusional.
So far this has been a great year for gaming. I think what they mean is that a few of the AAA games haven't lived up to expectations or have had broken launches. That doesn't mean all of the games this year have had those problems.
It's like they can't see the forest for the trees.
And my opinion...
PS4 first. Wii U, if you already have the PS4. An Xbox One if you already have the other two.
I bet Telltale Games Game of Thrones will be one of those "Available Right Now On the PS Store" announcements.
Awesome. Simply awesome that you have identified what was bothering you.
I have become immune to it (not that I don't get roped in from time to time) but not to the extent that it ruins my well being or that it ruins my enjoyment of gaming.
Sure, I can't possibly fathom why some people don't like my favorite games, but it reminds me of why opinions don't matter. If I listen to opinions I would have missed out on some remarkable games.
Pretty much. You just explained how useless reviewers really are!
Critics are useless human beings that contribute nothing, nada, zilch, to the world.
Yes. I think the Wii U will see a nice bump this quarter as both Xbox and PS gamers look for a second console.
Nice list, grabbed most of those. I am also intrigued by the next Zelda game.
So many games this Xmas my kids will be stoked.
Incredibly wrong, on all accounts.
The Lara piece is part of the narrative. There is an equal scene in Uncharted 3 where Nathan is powerless at the hands of a woman.
And since Nathan Drake is ruggedly handsome, there is certainly a sexual tension at being at the mercy of a powerful woman.
The Lara Croft scenario isn't about "saving" Lara by the way. It is about revealing a very real world situation and how Lara, the awesomel...
This is brilliant.
I also love the FPS games that place cheaters and modders in their own lobby facing off only against other cheaters and modders.
Valve's VAC servers are fun as people spend money on a game and then are essentially perma banned from ever playing it.
It's about journalistic integrity. Unfortunately, some trolls tried to make it into something else to deflect the attack on the journos.
Clicked agree. Post is spot on.
However, sometimes QTEs are done right like in Telltale's Walking Dead. You're prompted to repeatedly press the right button to get the zombie off of you. It adds to the tension.
But I agree that some devs get too gratuitous about them.
I want to know what the under the radar games are going to be.
Like this year, people complained that the blockbusters didn't live up to the hype as if those were the only games released.
Chicago would be perfect or Detroit...oh wait, modern day Detroit is already a wasteland.
