Really? I found it profoundly distracting...and awful. So awful I turned it off so I could concentrate on the game. That's funny. But it just proves that everyone has their tastes.
While I really liked the game, especially Gwent, (REPEAT: I really liked the game) I thought it was a little hokey that they borrowed soo, so much from other sources. It seemed like I couldn't do a side quest without some fantasy/ fairy tale reference.
That aside, I really hate broken narratives in games and two points really wrecked the experience for me.
SPOILER:
When you finally reach Ciri and have the fight at the Witcher Castle, I set ...
There are certain games that should be a service: All sports games: A yearly fee (say $10) to keep rosters up to date and improve the game and release teams and upgrades to the game. Then, in 5 years release the next engine.
But, the way things currently go, no thanks.
Well, I would have at least liked some DLC playing as Nil. Aloy is great. But I wanted more of Nil.
Nor is Thrillkill. Though I love that game... quite fun, actually.
This isn't Destiny 2. This is Battlefront 2. They already are doing well. They took 2nd in NPD sales after COD WWII. The base is already there.
I spent over $70 dollars on this game and all I have to show for it is this crummy video....
Lulz.
You realize you are talking to THE VR Internet Expert, don't you. And not just VR, PSVR expert at that. The comments are amazing from this guy. He owns a PS4 pro, XboxOneX, PSVR, Oculus and either an 8K or 4K TV and knocks down PSVR because he has to switch cables... instead of buying a $30 switch so he wouldn't have to switch his cables.....
Said it's too late to apologize
It's too late
Exactly. I don't get it. Battlefront 2 gets a ton of hate for microtransactions... that aren't even in the game, but could have been (had to say that for the people who can't infer), but Bungie keeps getting a pass for this crap.
I supported Destiny. The sequel should be equal to or surpass the 1st, not be less, then hide things we already bought behind paywalls.
Shove your censorship up your ass.
Yes. This, DQ XI and Ni No Kuni 2 are my must haves of this year.
Critics don't matter anymore. There have been a few articles bouncing around about how review scores just don't matter. Audiences, consumers, etc, just don't listen to them, if they ever did.
Complete! Nice contest!
Just make sure you turn off PVP in Survival, easily my favorite mode and more akin to what I thought the game was going to be.
The game is quite fun, but you can't really do any of the big raids if you are going solo. The DZ can be good since they tweaked it and the enemies aren't total bullet sponges now. Going rogue is easier and everyone knows. You can still DZ by yourself. I do.
If you liked Katamari: Try Wattam.
@SJD and Yeah
I don't argue tech with people on here. I spent a ton of time explaining something very patiently to someone about processors only to have them "refute" every post with something contrary. While what he said was true at one time, it no longer was true because processors had evolved. He continued and then I cut and pasted a comment that sounded familiar to me into google. It came back to an old Tom's Hardware thread from 5 years prior. He...
Bungie was a huge name BEFORE MS bought them. They made amazing games that are still great today.
Then the Bungie Halo relationship started. Then they left realizing that other systems were making a ton of money they missed out on.
Fallout 4 for PSVR? Are you sure?
@gwump (EDIT: Because this is N4G, I, by no means, no means whatsoever, am saying my list is better or worse than the Witcher 3. It is just a list of games I prefer over the Witcher 3. That is all. Nothing more, nothing less.)
Sure, be glad to tell you. (I just had this exact conversation on Reddit about Witcher 3). So, I went over and copied my post from there. I tried to keep it as "this gen" as possible, though if you have a PS3: Ni No Kuni (it's not ...
