You truly have to be a fanboy not to admit that it looks fantastic, and will likely play even better.
People who buy xbox1 like videogames too. It's arguable that they like them more than you do, as they are prepared to pay more for it.

KI is not a 2D game, and it does not have static backgrounds.
I think the popular term for KI's style is 2.5D. It is 2d in Style, but the models rendered in 3d, as are the sets.

This time they are working on a game that they are passionate about, and they have gys who have worked on Skullgirls and Streetfighter.

I really want to love Forza, and I quite enjoyed Forza horizons, but my fav racer of the last gen was Blur. Hardly a simulation, and that's probably why I like it!!
I drive a real car every day and whilst it has some great features, it refuses to fire missiles and lightning bolts at other road users.
Realism has it's place, but give me an arcade racer with crap physics any day!!
I long for those Sega glory days, and for a decent vita game.... This is either gonna be majestic, or utter shite....
