People act like they don't remember those times. It was tough with the COD content, game after game, xbox got more content, and they got stuff earlier. But then with other games, they'd have it on xbox first, and then try to port to PS3, same game months or maybe a year later. Sony forced developers to have to provide a special edition for their system (after it had been released on xbox).
I don't like these exclusivity deals, however Sony, had to use such...
It's good but the pricing keeps people away from it. If I have the disc, then that should give me access to the game on PS Now.
Finally!!!!!!
Hori Fighting Commader is the best fight pad in my opinion.
I can't wait to play it! again!
This is so awesome! Love the fact that people can really ENJOY their previous gen games.
@sammarshall102
I won't challenge you on the other games on on "Best of" list. Best FPS is DOOM.... not Halo 5. I'm going to assume that you're not old enough to play DOOM. However when you come of age... play DOOM!
If you enjoyed Halo 5, then that's fine, however I've played both and Doom just took the Halo formula and it's own formula and made a great FPS.
Sony has got to handle the backwards compatibility situation a lot better than they have. There is a better solution than trying to resale every PS2 and PS3 game previously purchased. The good news is moving forward (PS5, PS6) it should never be an issue again.
If they allowed the PS4 Neo to be compatible with all Playstation 1, 2, 3, and 4 games... I'd pay extra for it.
Finally! This game was awesome. It needs a remake so bad.
I'll stick with Driveclub. It's going to take more than a popular title to get me to spend money. They'll probably add VR support to get people to buy it.
I've played Driveclub...that's the standard right now.
I enjoyed it. Got my money's worth.... I'm good.
If it's bloody like Wolfeinstein then I'm in. I don't want to wait for Battlefield 2 for dismemberment.
I want BC and I don't mind paying for it. I understand and accept the difficulties that may incur as a result of the PS3 architecture and trying to move PS3 games over to the PS4 via emulation.
However, PS4, PS4.5, titles should (MUST) work on the PS5, 6, etc. with no issues. It's just a PC now....
"it's Own Vibe" meaning a money stream uninterrupted by past software that may prevent the consumer from purchasing the newest software specifically made for the newest device.
B.S. Indeed
If you can get good trade in deals for the PS4.5, then I think that will lessen the issues that people have with the newer model. I wish that the PS4.5 would be powerful enough to emulate PS3 games, (even if it's assisted by some cloud computing). So far, no one has articulated a good enough argument to make me feel that releasing the PS4.5 is bad idea, or that I should be unhappy with the release of the PS4.5.
@MasterCornholio
Being twice as powerful (assuming that this is true) just adds more value to the package. Going from the original 3DS to the 3DS Lite was a big improvement on the model. Even though the units performed the same graphically, some of those improvements were big. (thinking abut the DS XL)
That's a great point. Those revisions have never hurt the 3DS, and in most instances, people KNEW that an upgrade would come later. Not even accounting for the special editions each one of those models received.
Releasing the 4.5 will not be a problem for anyone. It's no different than releasing a slim model. Most of those models have upgrades in how its hardware performs (i.e. consuming less energy, more reliable, smaller chips generates less heat and noise, etc.). The only different now is there's a GPU upgrade.
If they do the .5 upgrade with every new console, it may cause some people to wait, for the .5 to come out. However, it's been nearly 3 years since the ...
Sony doesn't want driveclub as its visual show piece (even though it is). They want to give that honor to Gran Turismo.
