Great point!
Lucky's Tale... I'll see you in Hell!!!!! (aka Bargain Bin!)
I wonder if the Xbox One X will end up hurting MS. The scorpio hurt the sales of the Xbox One S, because we know that there are those who waited for the X, and there are those who may want a Xbox console, but are not sure if they want the S, knowing it's limitations, but not wanting to pay 500 for the X. For MS customers it's a 250 (or for black Friday 190) vs 500, but on the Sony side it's a 300 vs 400 (or for black friday 200 vs 400) decision. Pricing gap should be around 15...
despite all that... you love it. I know there's quickscoping... if you're hit with a sniper rifle you die... but I don't want it someone to hit me using quickscoping. It needs to be all skill with little to no assistance.
I already own a PS4 pro... so the decision has been made. I'd go with the pro because it's cheaper, most of my games are ps4 titles; plus I don't have a 4k television, so I can take full effect of the xbox one x. I got 175 for my PS4 console as a trade in at gamestop... which is how I got the ps4 pro. Gamestop, or bestbuy is going to have to really give a good deal for the original xbox one to get me to upgrade.
Horizon is my Game of the Year... Then they come back with a great DLC package that's worth the money. No Micro-transactions!
I think I want this for Christmas... maybe. I'm glad that the platform is profitable. I don't think it's good for the industry overall when projects such as this fail.
If you game on Xbox primarily, then I say yes, you have to get one. Due to my situation I'm going to wait for a sale.
I don't think I've seen anyone try to defend playstation now. I think everyone agrees that the PS4 (reg. or Pro) should allow people to play their PS1 and PS2 games.
I have to be honest... This is awesome!!!!! The Xbox that plays EVERYTHING Xbox basically makes all Xbox software relevant. I thought that Sony would let the PS4 Pro run PS2 and PS1 games. This is why it's good to have competition; competition brings out the best in any industry.
There is a confirmed demand for micro transactions in the vein of loot boxes (and other items); you can't expect EA and other developers to turn down money. I don't mind the loot boxes in Overwatch, because it's just cosmetic items, they have no effect on the gameplay. The issue with the upcoming Star Wars and newly released Shadows of Mordor is that the micro transactions items turn the game into a pay to win (or rather a pay to have an even playing field).
One game and one holiday season doesn't amount to the year of success held by the competition. Other teams have done a great job releasing great games throughout the year, I don't think that Nintendo and it's end of the year release can negate that.
It took three Xbox consoles to get where they are now. I guess Sony should go ahead and release a third PS4 with more horsepower..so it can compete with the Xbox One X. It'd be nice if it had the ability to play all Playstation games (1-4 and Vita).
Impressive. I hope there's a good trade in deal; i want to see how well the Xbox One X will play 360 and/or original xbox games
Lets get that physical release, and the PS4 version. Money is no longer an issue.
Everything can't be on the switch. I want the switch for smaller, indie games.
at 1080p what's the gaming experience going to be on Xbox One, vs Xbox One S and/or X? I have a regular Xbox, is the game going to run at 30 fps, with screen tearing, or will the game run much better on other Xbox consoles. I haven't heard anything in terms of what the difference might be... (if any) and thus it's making me apprehensive about making a purchase right now.
damn... I really wanted to play this game. I'm not going to buy the game only to become fodder for those who decided to pay extra. Let the people who buy the game plus the additional cards fight it out amongst themselves.
It's funny they say that, when the result is Xbox has not games for this holiday season or on the horizon.
I wonder if Disney stepped in because of feedback from fans, or because they felt the micro-transactions may have a negative impact on children? Given this situation I hope that EA and other developers become more cautious about how they utilized micro-transactions in their games.
