PAccording to some youtbers, this is a joke of an streaming option. for $9 bucks each onth you can play 5 year old LEGO games. Wanna play The Witcher 3? Have to buy it for $60 ... add. to the $9 per month. Wanna continue your Witcher 3 game on the pc, when the TV is in use by a family member? Bad luck, cant share the save game across ... gotta rebuy the game on steam and start from scratch.

Because there are at least 2 markets on the PC. One is the F2P one since 2008 and heavily dominating and the other is the AAA one (Steam and such). Guess which one is the bigger of the two.
Steam is just a mere nuiance. It only survives thanks to the double dippers out there buying same games twice or even trice, the die hard PC is dead and generates about as much as Microsoft´s Xbox or even less

The remaining one has to do A LOT more than before, due MS leaving the field. Sony would be forced to grab all the fans from the sinking ship AND start making games for them as well meaning even more money spending or creating new teams focusing on those type of games.
If Sony all it did was to ignore it, they would never move forward and only the same 70millish would keep buying their games, but for how long?
ran it on my pc, from 2013ish at 1080p standard and it looked rubbish to say the least. They should have called it THE LAST REMNANT Part 2 ... a similar turd back then. Squaresoft is long dead, wished Sony had acquired Enix and not SS.
The combat looked boring as fuck, jump here, jump there, flashy graphics ... overall just bad, lacks soul? to me of previous installment (only played 7/9/10).
... you can have all the studios you want, but without a good director/writer ... ya got nothing but an empty world, randomly filled with stuff, placed via an algorithm over the cloud. They got the manpower to create worlds, but they for sure do not have any serious/noteworthy/reknown writer/storyteller and/or producer/director. Well at least that is my view after 17 years, they bought Rare that had the knowledge to do something great but instead were forced to make kinect games.
