@hankmoody
Yeah, from the little I have seen it looks amazing. I don't know why but it gives me an old resident evil/silent hill days vibe.
Ive always been a big survival horror but with those franchises (above) currently being pretty crap maybe these fresh IP's will reinvigorate the genre.
If it was a more complete value proposition they wouldn't have to bundle in free games to raise pre-order numbers.
Going to have to get my girlfriend play this. Already introduced her to Slenderman, she hated me for that.
@thrust
Globally over 1M. Although I believe that figure is outdated as it stands.
Apparently this is the highest pre-order level the company has ever experienced.
EDIT (SOURCE: http://www.vg247.com/2013/0...
Indeed, but I'm sure the 13 countries MS will target are the main markets of the European bloc (UK, GER, FRA etc).
Regardless I'm still with you in believing Sony has the edge. They seem to have really high pre-orders and high street interest.
Time will tell!
Interesting that Sony has the time edge in the US and Microsoft in Europe.
If I am correctly informed the US is traditionally Microsoft and Europe leans towards Sony. If that is so it could be quite a competitive battle over the coming months.
Forgive me... I couldn't resist.

The first feature spec wise that has an increase on the PS4 and its the Xbox Ones killer app...
Lol.
The Xbox Ones killer apps are funnily enough, its killer apps (exclusives).
Having recently owned (and promptly sold) the Ouya and seeing the reviews that are coming out for other consoles and handhelds I really don't see much of a future for android consoles.
Its basically games you can get on your phone with improved controls, but they are never console games so whats the point?
Waiting for CoD:Ghosts to get a 10/10. Lol.
Actually made me lol there.
This game on a console + big TV + surround sound.
That is a living room experience!
When do you ever review a games SP and MP separately? Isn't looking at the full package the point?
"Oh I'm going to review this here car, but first lets take the engine out. Oh look, its s**t and doesn't go anywhere!"
I thought this game was way off playable demos. Glad to see its not!
One thing people seem to forget with these games is to take into account the price. Looking at it now on GAME (UK) it retails for £28.99. This is almost HALF the price of PS3/360 game.
You really get a lot of bang for your buck with this game, and from playing the beta I dont think they have skimped on quality at all with this game.
I hear "The black hand" and just think command and conquer.
@ Neonridr
On point number 2, I don't believe its a case of what morals the company has, if they see you have sued your last company they are not going to be keen to hire you.
As I said I just think going public with this and putting his name out there for future employers was a mistake.
I am of the belief that unpaid internships should not exist. They are simply unfair, everyone should be paid for a days work.
However, ...
God I would love to see a Micro Machines game.
Nor I. I cant think of any game Ive ever played that has supported 8 local/splitscreen players.
Would be cool if Google made a console.
But daaaamnn that console is ugly. Looks like something IBM might have made 30 years ago.
