Actually Marcus emailed me and he wants to chat about the topics I brought up...I asked to be a guest on IW. This way it will be public so all can listen.
The think is that they said they did the install and then they were hit with an 8 gig patch which to me would mean that they were identifying two seperate items to take issue with.
On the short play throughs of the games they as journalists should at least do there research prior to commenting or at the very least make sure to mention that said features are in the works if it had been communicated by the developers...in this case all of the said feature were in the Beta and...

I saw a post the other day and it made it very clear...
If you know find out the code to my house alarm and have no bad intentions there is nothing wrong with that but the moment you walk down my block yelling it out you are...the moment you give access to something like the PS3 code to anyone who wants it then you are partially at fault for if games get pirated thus you should serve time in jail.

Okay a few things to clear up.
1 yes I have seen the commercial dozens of times on tv
2 Sony and DC will not let the title do poorly...they know how to do MMO's...Everquest anyone.
3 I think PS+ members should maybe get $5 off but since the game is so stellar I'm totally okay with the $15 a month and remember you dont have to pay if your not going to play...duh.
4 They had a beta for...

I agree with you completly I was loosely following the game and when I became a PS + member I downloaded the beta and instantly fell in love.
The idea of subscription games has always turned MMO's off for me but after playing the beta I went out and paid for the game the next day. I can't wait for tomorrow.... :) OH YEAH!!!

That has nothing to do with the Kinect tech it has all to do with MS's $500 million dollar marketing campain which has the goal of putting them in every house and in America where the average consumer which is who the Kinect is being marketed at does very little to no research before purchase.
Unlike many other countries where money is insanely tight the US still has enough floating around to allow the average consumer to spend there money very poorly...
In what country...US because that's all that matters...oh wait those 8 million are shipped to retailers and not to end consumers.
Every time I go to the Gamestop right across the street from my house they have a pile of Kinects and still very few Move controllers.
I guess it all depends on what you are looking at and for what type of consumer.

do you have a 360 if so when it red ringed did you go out and get another...I'm sure did so don't act like your willing to miss out on all the stellar games coming out on the PS3 this gen. If you say your willing to miss out then we would know your either a liar who doesn't own a PS3 or your an XBOT who still doesn't own a PS3.

Just to let you know HHG is extremely intelligent and could easily run circles around you. I'm considered a pretty bright guy and I know when I was on the Backlash episode HHG was able to completly flip the scrip on our opinions. Just because you don't understand his style is not his fault but yours.
I enjoyed the trailer and now I'm off to do some research on the actual game because I haven't been following this title.
