Well profitable from a business perspective includes first party software sales and in that point of view MS falls short because they no longer have any real first party developers other than Rare and all they do is focus on Kinect and XBL Avatars.

Where are you getting your facts there are tons of games that run at 60 frames locked...Ratchet and Clank says hi :)
Also the MLAA has been proven to do 16x AA and above...God of War and Sabotour walk in and say party in the house.
As far as the 1080p well there are games that have used 1080p and ran fine...when this is not possible is when a game like KZ3 has so much going on onscreen at once with sick particle effects, wind drift, post pro...
I love this series and part three looks to be my FPS of the year.
You know me I'm not the biggest FPS gamer but when I get a chance I will have to check this out. I still have Dead Space 2 to play, DCUO to get to the end game content, ME 2 to finish and I haven't even popped in LBP 2 or Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom...let alone I'v barely had a chance to dig into GT5.
All of this and I still have MvC 3, Killzone 3, Bulletstorm and the new MK to play once they come out...I need more time in my day to do all this stuff...well I...
Personally I'm gonna pick up the NGP more features, better graphics and games that appeal to me so it's a no brainer but to each his own.
From what I understand it's actually not a game like Streets of Rage or Final Fight...it's the first multiplayer brawler where you can fight each other as well as the NPC's. At least that is my understanding thus far.

Do you know that going multiplat will have no effect ont the quality of the title because history would completly disagree with you. I personally don't mind it going multiplat but only after it's been released on the PS3 and is then ported over to the 360...
...I can not stand shitty ports caused by co-development done at the same time which causes the resources to be split up instead of focused on one platform.
