Nintendo has never catered to one market. The Wii had more core games on it than the Gamecube.

Totally agree with the piece. The PS3 and Xbox 360 nearly killed the Japanese game market with their inflated development costs and pricey hardware. Capcom moved Monster Hunter from the PS3 to the Wii because of it.
Thats why you see a majority of Japanese developers moving to handhelds and the Wii U. Yeah we'll still get Square Enix, Crytek, and other big third party developers making games for the PS4 and Xbox 720, but smaller developers might get swept under the rug. ...
Everybody has their favorite Zelda games but I'll give you three reasons why I think its the best one.
1. New Gameplay Mechanics: The Leaf floating, stealth, using enemies weapons, the moving spin slash, and "raiding" enemies on the high seas.
2. The art style: The graphics and look of Windwaker is amazing and still stands up today. The fact Nintendo is doing a HD remake on the game proves the game was artistically the best choice for it.
What your saying is not true. All you have to do is look at the Xenoblade announcement trailer. There were thousands of people around the internet who said there going to buy a Wii U when that game came out. There are people waiting for a price drop, there are people waiting for Smash Bros. Zelda ect

The Vita will be used as a controller but not main option. The analog sticks are to small and its missing shoulder buttons PlayStation gamers are accustomed to.

Xenoblade 2's enviornments are more detailed and lush. The grass and textures look a lot better in Xenoblade. Draw distance and scope are better as well. Plus the monster detail is better.

Just like Millions of PS3 and 360 fans are happy with Madden and COD every year. Nintendo fans like Nintendo games. They are well crafted and don't follow the 'dude has a gun' most modern games are like.
Both of those games are not open world RPGs with massive monsters roaming about. There closed off action games. For the scope of Xenoblade 2 to look as good as it does, might be more impressive to some people. You can go anywhere in the game. Can't say the same about Uncharted and The Last of Us.
Sorry if the title was misleading. It was more of a response to the people, mainly digital foundry, who said the Wii U's CPU will cause problems for larger games.
But I think you can clearly see, when you optimize a game for a system, you won't have those problems.

I have already played all those games.... I have a PS3, 360, Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and PC. All im trying to say is there is no RPG that can match the graphics and scope of Xenoblade 2 with the exception of FF VS that we might not even see

The Xenoblade 2 announcement looks better than anything on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 imo. And it assures me the Wii U can visually do things the Xbox 360 and PS3 cant.
I understand why people are skeptical on Wii U, but the PS3 and Xbox 360 are shooterboxes. COD, Mass Effect, Far Cry, Killzone, Resistence, Borderlands, Medal Of Honor, Resistance, MAG, Halo, Uncharted, Dead Space,..... Everything is a shooter.
