Believe it or not, I play a ton of games on all systems.I got a part time job at Best Buy. We have demo stations of PS4 and Xbox One games.
I spent a lot of time playing each game.
I think Sony's crazy spending is finally catching up to them. The PS3 and PS Vita were financials disasters. And Sony doesn't help themselves making gamnes like Beyond Two Souls with major AAA actors like Ellen Page.... then the game doesn't ...

The Western Media will try to make something important when its not. The Xbox One only sold 150,000K at launch in the UK. That's not a big market. That's tiny, yet every site is reporting on it as if the UK is Japan, US, or all of Europe.

Most of the games work with a normal controller. You don't need to use the gamepad for Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, Mass Effect, Batman, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 3D World, Sonic, Zelda, and pretty much any game out their.
Right now, the Wii U has the best exclusive games.

People who love Mario will buy it. Waving a $500 or $400 system in front of them will not impact Mario 3D World sales. Especially when you can get Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Bros U, and Super Luigi U for less than a PS4.
Or you can get Super Mario 3D World, Zelda Wind Waker HD, and the Wii U for less than a PS4 and Xbox One.
I have played it, At Best Buy for about 30 minutes. It was boring, there is not enough variety in the combos. Its basically looping quick time events.
There's not enough weapons, or different skills that change the gameplay up enough like DMC, Bayonetta, or God of War
