Gotta love how they are flaimbaitng ONE week of sales. On top of that, they are using Famitsu, instead of Media Create, which is largely reguarded as more accurate. In the Media Create Sales the Wii U outsold the PS3.

The time is actually horrible for that. They are about to launch Smash Bros with Amiibo support. If you launch a bundle without a Gamepad, tons of people won't even consider buying Amiibo because they won't be able to use it.
Keep the Gamepad, just drop the price by $50 if they have to, but dropping the Gamepad at this point is a stupid idea. Not when there is a ton of games in development that will be using it. Especially with Amiibo.

Sorry MS....You're losing the DLC wars to Sony. They are spending more money on advertising and paying developers more for superior versions/content of 3rd party games (Watch Dogs, Destiny)
And MS doesn't have the exclusive to carry their platform. Sony and Nintendo are going to whoop MS this holiday.
Sony has superior multiplats, Nintendo has superior exclusives and a cheaper price.

When the JRPGs start rolling in? And when is that? The Wii U will beat the PS4 this generation in Japan because NINTENDO makes games for the Japanese audience while SONY does not. They are focused on Western markets.
Nintendo has Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade, Zelda, Splatoon, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, and so many franchises that Japanese users like. There are only 2 big JRPGs in development for the PS4 right now......
