The difference is you have to have a PS3 and a Vita to do this where as Nintendo has the system that comes with the controller. Developers will not be as interested doing unique things because everybody who owns a PS3 might not own a Vita and vice versa. Kinda like Wii motion plus/move/Kinect support. Yeah you'll get some games on Vita that will do PS3 to Vita support but most won't. Every single game on the Wii U will use that touchscreen.

Wow This is a gimmick even though it has a full array of button and 1080p graphics. And I think your being really quick to judge the games coming out. Developers have confirmed there will be exclusive content and "NON Gimmicky" Controls and content in Darksiders 2 for Wii U.

You actually cant play Pokemon on the Wii. Unless its Pokemon Battle Revolution where you need the DS games to play it. Zelda games don't come out on the consoles often the DS games are different. Mario on the 3DS looks to be more like Mario 3/and Mario 64 combined. Galaxy is pretty different than the one were getting on 3DS. Sony has already said they are not going to have a PS3 level of investment into the PS4. I think they have realized that having the best graphics doesn't mean you sell the most or win the console war. Price, features, online play, and ease of development are far more important than who has the best graphics.

Mass effect on the Wii U would be way better.
This is a Sony fanboy dominated site so im not surprised to see so many people picking the Vita but I really think the 3DS will have better games because of Nintendo's first party content. Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Smash Bros, Kid Icaris, and Pokemon are hard to beat while the PSVita is nice it has a lot of games you can already get on the consoles.
Nintendo already stated that it will be priced competitively with the PS3 and 360. No way in hell this thing is %600
I agree. this looks artistically much better than most PS3/360 games and remember guys it about gameplay too. Most PS3 games run at 30FPS where as Nintendo games will most likely run at 60FPS

Well thats were online play comes into the picture. And the games they were showing at E3 were designed around the fact that one person has the controller while others play with Wii Remotes. It works well. Watch the demos of people playing or read a preview.
A lot of PS3 out in the market can't play PS2 games and it really hasn't hurt them.
