Resolution and depth/length aren't mutually exclusive.
I guess it is good marketing but I doubt it will have 100 really dynamic , conclusive, and different endings that all make sense. Maybe I'm wrong, but for now I'm sceptical.
This is poor marketing. Many of us would be satisfied with 4 or 5 really good endings rather than 100 slightly different ones.
Seems more like the source was trying to think of any 16 "third person shooters". Most of those are what I'd term more like action/adventure than outright a third person shooter.
Couple of good third person shooters: Strike Vector and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
The main differences on games these days are things like lighting, shadows, and bigger textures,, as well as resolution. Most of these things are hard to see in online videos.
I'm just sick of people saying "oh, it's the TV's settings / brightness that's all"
@ the disagree-ers, go and educate yourself on the matter, otherwise you look like an arse.

"Also phones are more like computers in the sense they are not optimized or specifically made for gaming, consoles and handhelds work more efficiently with far less when it comes to games and more importantly their components are much more synchronized versus a phone or PC.
"
This is true but lately has been exaggerated far ...
Also consider that the last few generations of iDevices are significantly more powerful than a Vita.
Having said that though, it's still a shame. I wouldn't have minded a down-scaled version come to it, just for the ability to play with physical controls.
Sometimes a couple of small errors make their way through, things like comma splices or accidentally pluralising things. But this is different lol. I assume he's not a native english speaker.
No problem lol. People need to realise that games are subjective just like anything else, so just because Deus Ex was loved by many it doesn't mean it will be loaved by all.
Just seems like someone put together a list of popular games and then proceeded to hate on them. Not much of an article tbh. And it's multiple pages long.
Not sure why so many people think it is a mistake, considering the PS4 is only equivalent to a Radeon HD 7870, and more precise estimations put it below that too.
Aside from reaffirming their commitment to PC gamers as well as making a profit from selling the game?
It doesn't benefit MS if it's an exclusive forever.
I don't think many people understand the actual extent of how open these developers are being with it, and who the man behind the game is. hint: google him.
The author bases the crux of his argument on the fact that MCC will be a system seller. Let's examine that a little more closely with what seems to be floating around right now. "secret timed exclusives". Essentially, these are marketed as console exclusives then sold on PC later down the line, You get the best of both worlds, as the game helps sell systems to customers who think it's only available on console, but then it allows the publisher to capitalise off of work alrea...
@Breakline
Quality of the combat isn't really going to change whether or not a game is an MMO.
It's like trying to say a car isn't a car because it's red.
I'd like to see a source from the people saying CELL is more powerful than what's offered with the Jaguar platform. It's extremely hard to believe, and something I'd outright laugh at normally, but since so many people seem to believe it I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.
It better. It's looking extremely promising so far. Maybe more promising than Destiny ...? ; D
Exactly. The concept of an APU is great, but AMD needs to make them a lot more powerful for them to appeal to more people. It's be awesome for a higher end $200 APU that was based off of an R9 260X and an FX 8320.
The current crop of Kaveri APUs from AMD aren't particularly powerful in terms of graphics processing capability, whereas the APUs in the PS4 and Xbox One are a bit better in that regard, less powerful on the CPU side of things.
So his comment is actually fairly accurate.
Higher resolution affects all of that, and isn't just "more detailed concrete". It's a shame that the consoles are underpowered to the point where you have to choose between them anyhow.
