Not something we've seen a whole lot of. I'm interested to see how it plays.
I've run the numbers of what this year is going to cost me in games and I think I need a second job :P
As with any "Top" list, of course there are things that each person would add or take away... I would certainly reorder this list to put Borderlands in the #1 position for myself :) But overall, no matter how you slice it... It's going to be an amazing year for games... I can't wait to get my hands on most of these games!!
That's a shame to hear. I was wondering if this was going to get any traction. Unfortunately, as InfiniteLoop pointed out, it's a very niche game, makes for hard sales... Especially when you're not pushing the limits.
I'm on the fence about this one.. Great review! I just may have to pick it up.
I'm not sure that I'm sold on this just yet. I watched people play with it for a little while at E3 and it looked a bit clunky. I didn't have enough time to try it myself so I can't fully judge it.. But from what I've seen, I'm not impressed... Yet. We'll see.
I know all too well how that feels. This one is worth a few hours of your time.
Pretty much exactly what I was going to say. I'd love to see cross platform play this generation. That would be amazing!!
Didn't realize that! Good call!!
It makes sense.. sure, but at the same time they're not helping the XB1 succeed. I'd like to see as much as a heated competition as last gen but it's looking a bit one sided at the moment.
It's not half bad. Great way to pass the time.
I think the adverts will work for awhile where the X1 is concerned, but at the end of the day it really does come down to which system you prefer. I don't think we'll see sales slow on either system for quite some time.
I'm looking forward to seeing the indie flood that hits this generation of consoles :)
Between the Pre-Alpha and the Alpha I've put plenty of hours in. I don't see myself getting bored with this thing any time soon. With that said, Bungie has some really tough competition coming down the pipeline near the same release date. It's going to be an amazing year for gamers! I think it'll have a solid run but not as significant as their past titles.
Looks good. Glad it's going to make it to all systems
It has nothing to do with the way either game looks. I, personally, have never been a fan of COD. All of their games have felt very one dimensional. Ergo, I've never truly enjoyed playing them. That's why it's hard for me to understand the draw, it just doesn't do it for me.
Conversely, games like this (or any other game, really), that are innovative and find new ways to deliver a unique experience fall short. It's a damn tragedy if you ask me.
The Rainbow games keep getting better with each iteration. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why COD stay's on top of this genre. Lookin forward to this one!
Not a bad line up. I've played them all but might just pick up Red Dead for old time's sake. Nice list man, thanks for the heads up!
If this is just 10% of the overall size I'm impressed. I'm looking forward to seeing the final release of this thing, it's going to be awesome!
Good to know! Thanks man!
That would be a bit of an odd move on their part...
