Wow... Wish more companies would take this outlook. Glad they appreciate the competition.
I wouldn't mind seeing it on the older generation as long as that's not their main goal. I think that's where a lot of early games make their biggest mistake. They need to shoot for the current gen systems, then they can compress and cut what they need to fit on the past gen.
Sounds about right. When you word so closely with something it's hard to see it from a third party perspective.
If that's their target audience it could be very successful. When you're talking about a game that has historically only been released for one system it makes perfect sense to target the Xbox market.
That being said.. If they were to expand the TV series to other platforms like they did with Halo Legends they just might be able to expand their player base. The Haloverse has an expansive, rich storyline... That's one of the many reasons people keep coming back to ...
Right on. Hope this works out well for them. I'd like to see a solid LOTR game get some attention... Hopefully this is that solid game.
I'm in the same boat. Similar to how I wish I had seen the movies before reading the books... Alas, the curse of early adopters.
I'm not huge on 3D but the tech exists.. Why not support it for those that want to use it? If done correctly, 3D can be pretty cool, in gaming and movies.

People have no lives.. No matter what anyone does, it'll in some way be found racist, sexist, or opressive. Everything is too damn PC. People just need to grow a backbone... Watch, here comes the "Invertibry Society" to tell me that not all creatures need a backbone and it's insensitive to say otherwise...
I'm still not sold on this game... Not sure if I like them changing up the formula that's worked so well for them in the past.. Guess we'll see. I'll play it either way... But I really don't know what to think of it.

Seriously though, isn't this the second time they've been back and forth on this? I thought they were "theorizing" just last year that this wouldn't be an issue.
Should be an interesting show. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone brings to the table. E3 was little on the underwhelming side.

I'm not much of a COD fan... This one does pique my interest though. Maybe they'll be able to pull out of the rut they've managed to get themselves into for the past few years.
Good! Really glad to hear this. Seems to be too heavy of a trend lately to make things that don't need to be dark and gritty into just that. I'm looking forward to getting this one!
