Japan has always been enamored with American culture/media. Microsoft and their $$$ convinced many Japanese software companies to entertain the idea of a Westernization of their games. The 360 is an American console, America is the best country in the world...blablabla.
So we have the story of this gen, where Japan, with a few exceptions, spit out crap after crap software.
Time has passed. 360 never made it big in America. Japanese companies found themselves ...
Yeah, Kratos is OP because you can suck and still dominate with him.
However, I've seen some amazing Nariko players...they're able to fight and gain AP with her while barely touching the ground, therefore making it really hard to hit her.

I dislike Kotaku so much that even though I agree with them here, I'm still not opening up the full article, haha.
Anyway, what annoys me the most are the little kids still buying the trash that is Final Fantasy today. If people boycotted S-E, we'd probably have the real FF games again.

---mwjw696 --- That's why Sony has Android for their Xperia and works hand in hand with Google for the original and current Google TVs. The two companies have worked together especially in areas where the other side lacks to compete with Apple/Microsoft. --- 12
Of course you know Sony will go to Google to compete with this, if need be.
I don't think that'll work this time.
This is a combination of Ninja Theory acting like complete pricks (even as far back their handling of poor Heavenly Sword sales) and ignoring the community's desire. Sucker Punch listened to fans when they didn't like Cole's look. I believe the Bioshock cover was changed due to fans' complaints. Fans have always been directly linked to the success of games, and with the high price of games, even more so now.
I mean, c'mon, new Dante looks like Hilary Swank...
@Chaotic --- PS2 didn't start to really sell until the GTA franchise hit it.---12
Man I played RE6 for the first time last Saturday --- what trash!!!
I like this mature look at the Vita sales. All Sony consoles begin slowly and for them to expect otherwise here would be fluke-ish.
Still, I love my Vita and ever since I bought it my 3DS collects dust.

I like TellTale point and click and I don't want it to change.
I think this shows how badly we need more JRPGs, haha
Square has somehow managed to make a really pretty girl really boring
Tired of all the Kotaku articles on N4G about now...
POST OF THE YEAR
The little kids who still like Final Fantasy are in full force here with the disagrees
Word up my homie
Me too. We say that the economy is doing poorly. This might be true, however it's relative: all kinds of overrated things still sell very well today, in all kinds of media. As long as this is the case, our world economy is pretty good, I'd say.

Amen. I have years of evidence to back it up. Game wouldn't load. Took it out. Blew on it. It worked. This happened over 100 times, easy.
