This happened with FF13 and with DMC4, and who knows how many other games. But these two bothered me. Microsoft money has muscles that can annoy at times.

Final Fantasy Rest in Pieces....
Oh don't worry, Deadpoole...the WiiU price will drop SOON. They can't get away with that price for this hardware for very long. - 12
It does suck, I wish Superbot the best.
I've been playing the game since day one. It's not the perfect game, but a really good game. There are some very obvious imbalances...certain characters are just too easily abused and therefore overused (Kratos, Drake, Raiden) and there are simply too many ways to be cheap with the characters that use guns in this game. Like P4A, it becomes in most cases not a matter of skill, but a matter of who is best at being cheapest.
lol, zip drives were relevant for one year only, and I think that year was 1997. haha --- 12
I can't believe you have to pay for Xbox Live Gold AND get ads!!!!
(I mean I really never knew this until recently!)
(I own a 360 for Witcher 2 but never considered getting Xbox Live Gold as I don't need to be online to play this...now I certainly won't get it.)
78% isn't bad, but it's more like --- why buy a 78% game when one can be playing games above 90%? All games are trying to battle for your time and there's too much competition out there to get away with a 78% game these days. --- 12
Very smart for Sony to get the PS4 hype going, Sony has crazy momentum right now --- LOTS of folks are going to buy the PS4 simply to continue with the very good ride that is the end of the PS3. It's not how you start, it's how you finish and Sony is ending this gen in a better position than anyone.

Yes, there are literally media wars between writers. It also shows that these writers are not unbiased, but influenced (often financially) by these bigger companies. Sad but true.
Not saying that all writers are biased but sometimes we go through patches like this where there is clearly a media war of sorts going on.

huh?
Walking Dead in your grill
Xbox Live gets pretty well put into its miserable place in this article.
It's called paying for a service. You get what you pay for. You don't get what you don't pay for. Not really genius...a rather basic business model since the beginning of money transactions. You should try it.

So now we see that even when Sony gives away money, they're bad. Ah, the internet. Somebody would complain if it rained gold.

Yeah just because we are seeing more games due to the growth of the videogame industry, doesn't mean games aren't getting better. You just have to wade through more filth to find the gems.
I used to think FF7 was the best game ever made. Then I played Mass Effect 2, and let's just say I'm not sure anymore.
I used to think Final Fantasy Tactics was the best SRPG ever made. Then I played XCom: Enemy Unknown. Let's just say I'm not sure a...
Woah woah woah. Witcher 2 is AMAZING. I'll grant you that. But Uncharted 2 is, in my opinion, more amazing in its genre than Witcher2 is in the RPG genre. They are different games and different genres.

Let Microsoft go first, but don't wait too long. Make it a counter, not a delay. Sony has no need to rush this gen along.

American gaming media supports their own, I guess. Doesn't matter. At the end of the day, PS3 won this gen.
Sly, Kratos and MAYBE Bioshock for me.
MS wouldn't pay Bethesda to release a broken game on purpose (that's how folks get sued) but I can assure you MS paid Bethesda $$$ to keep the DLC timed exclusive. --- 12
