They need to add the "Actual Gameplay Footage" for the NA commercial.

This number against a Microsoft headstart(can you imagine if Microsoft did not have a headstart? Now you see why Microsoft said they NEEDED to come out first), against a cheaper gimmick launching on the same day, against the media-bias which always shoots at the leader---
---Good job Sony.
Now that the Wii is being seen more and more as the gimmick that it is and now that Microsoft has shot out all of their best too early, let's see what happens in 2009.
...
I haven't played the 360 version but the controls for the PS3 are SO tight and accurate. It's a dream.

Now he will get played with by the "gamers" in prison.
(And he's not going to jail, he's going to prison. There is a difference.)

Those questions are so biased, I can't believe they're real. I mean, I'd like to say that Jaffe was making those up.
Note how many of the questions begin with the premise of a bias against the PS3 and Sony.
If Jaffe actually answered those questions, it would sound like he's bashing the PS3.
Questions like these are how many stars and athletes get into trouble. Hopefully Jaffe is smart enough to avoid it---and I think he is.

Last time I checked, Sony wouldn't fit into Newell's world either, right?
Therefore, I can't join into his dream. Haha.

Inaba. And this saddens not because I want the West to do poorly (I love my America) but because I also want to see the Japanese step up.
I think a lot has to do with the fact that in the West, innovation is valued.
In Japan, it's considered flattery and a good thing to mimic what someone has done before, which douses innovation.
This is why JRPGs are very sucky these days, and even the ones that are great (like Valkyrie Chronicles) still contain very fa...
I'm not so sure that this has anything to do with Microsoft. This has to do with the piss-poor company that Square-Enix has become. How pathetic.

I'm REALLY sorry about this...really. This is an insult. You get SFHD on the same day SFIV comes out? This some kind of joke? I viewed SFHD as a warm-up for SFIV.
Capcom failed you guys this time around, and as a big SF fan, I would be VERY pissed by this.

Ok. Edge officially doesn't know what the heck they're talking about.
It isn't about bias. It's about their lack of consistency in reviews.
Goodbye Edge...join Gamespot as a review site that belongs in an armpit of the internet.

Who thinks Eurogamer would have given Killzone 2 a 10/10 if it was (somehow) multi-plat?
Anyway, I'm a serious SF fan from the oldschool and all of these reviews will just confirm this purchase for me.

MAR-TRY-DOM...that is probably the phattest comment I've read on N4G in a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooong time. Thank you very much.

I can't even open the links yet...
...looks like there are too many people trying to look at it.
But based on the responses so far, it seems like Sony will successfully continue to blanket 2009 with great games and alluring hype.
Sony doesn't need any gimmicks...just bury us with games! That's the only way to truly stand above the rest.
Now, if I can only get these links open eventually...

Sillelak---Competition is good. We won't get the best of the best games if all games were multi-plat. The "everyone should be happy because we all have it" argument would lead to what you don't want. Exclusives for any console drive the industry in terms of innovation and personally, I love it.

Even though Metacritic has been accused of being biased, they are probably the worst thing for Edge. Edge would love if their "7" score for Killzone2 actually mattered, but Metacritic allows us to ignore their score and look at what more sensible sights have to say.
So yeah, I would say Edge hates Metacritic.

As a big fan of both fighting games since back in the day, this can be really exciting. :)

Problem with Tekken characters is that none of them (besides the bosses, and Devil Jin) have ranged attacks.

...long ago already. Trust me, I remember. :)

Crazzyman---
Killzone 2 has enough hype, thanks. Time for Sony to spread it out. You know, if Sony does it right, they can completely drown 2009 with hype for their exclusives. They've already got January and February covered, now they need to overload the internet with something else....

Cmon. Most people who buy this game for "Halo" will turn it off after the first 15 minutes.
Only 15 missions and very easy A.I.? Is that right? The game can be beaten in a few hours? Did he say that? Wait, let me replay that...
...yep, he said that. I don't know how this can revolutionize RTS games when it isn't even hardcore---and only hardcore players do RTS games.
