Are you new to gaming? Every console generation had it's own exclusives at launch. Just because MS decided to go the PC route doesn't mean that Sony and Nintendo have to do it too. And Sony always supported their previous consoles for years. MS on the other hand dropped the OG Xbox as soon as the 360 launched.

Most Xbox fans are americans and many on this site believe the brand actually has a chance in beating Playstation worldwide.
The brand isn't big enough to win a generation. Americans need to realize that Xbox is only relevant in the states.

SSDs are not the standard on PC and no game atm is built around it. Every PS5 will have the same SSD and Sony will take full advantage of it with their first partys.
better overall package in the beginning (cheaper and more powerful) good marketing, brand recognition (especially in europe and japan) and of course exclusives.
