It's a next gen game, since you need a next gen console to play it. And resolution alone isn't everything. The game looks more impressive than anything we've seen on the series X so far.

They have nothing new. Most of their exclusives are years away.

Not really. 0 and Kiwami run at 1080p because both games are cross-gen (the PS3 versions are Japan only) and use the old PS3 engine. Judgment on the other hand is PS4 only and uses the new Dragon engine.
