It's interesting that Sony have said they didn't want to distribute the physical discs. I'm surprised, however it does make business sense I suppose. It's a shame though, because I prefer having hard copies, and Sony don't want to do it. I suppose if BioWare put enough pressure on, they may have changed their minds! I don't konw why it is that Sony Europe don't like to do physical distribution

Yeah, pretty much. The Xbox has headsets, as does the PS3. So it's viable, but I don't know if they'd do that, or if they're talking about technology like Natal...
You can pause the game to do what you want to do, but you're right. It is cumbersome.

If anything this means that cracked games are the way forward. If you're paying for something that doesn't work, what's the point? Somebody needs to hire those crackers to work on DRM.
Activision just seem to bully their games to the shelves. The only real franchise that is good now is call of duty, and even that's getting a little stale. The Blizzard thing is irrelevent. Blizzard don't need activision, but activision really do need them.
Nvidia has said they're talking to Microsoft, but Nintendo and Microsoft might see 3D gaming in their next cycle of consoles. At teh moment, it's only the PS3 which has 3D capability.
It's a great thing, especially in games like Just Cause 2 where the scenery just comes to life. I'd love to see it in Red Dead Redemption, I think anything with beautiful vistas is worth playing, but it really is a joy.

I've played this, and the way vehicles react is amazing. Whether you're tethering them or if you're just shooting out tyres. It's amazing!
They really need to do something with that race. My fear is that there isn't enough content in the game, and I'm still waititng to see what htey do with the ships.
It is a year for the sandbox. I'm looking forward to Red Dead Redemption and Just Cause 2. Crackdwon 2 will be fun, still not convinced by Mafia II...
SOCOM was totally over-rated on the PS3, but it was brilliant on the PS2. I dont' know what happened to it, maybe it's just not as good as other shooters now.
