Surely by definition the next generation of gaming will only come with the next consoles?
Does anyone actually care? Surely they'd be better spending their time on the story or the gameplay than inventing a different animation for clipping a carabiner to a rope?

MW3: bombastic, mindless fun.
We're along way off, decent speed internet is far from global. What it would mean for me is that when I get hit with slow connection speeds at peak I couldn't retreat from multiplayer to singleplayer which I would not be a fan of.

Microsoft's problem is that it doesn't have very many first party studios; Sony has many so it gets a load of exclusives.
It's new but they put out some really good stuff, I'd recommend it.
As much as I hate to admit, I can't either. It's like a summer blockbuster actions movie: the story is crap, but if you loosen up you can sit back and really enjoy the ride.
