They made the game, put it on GP, and did well, they stated a fact about their game, with graphs, projections data, and info.... again why are they jokers? All these armchair analyses in this thread are trying to debunk an actual company that actually put out a game, and attributed an increase in sales due to GP. Only on the internet, and specifically on N4G can you find such lunacy, devoid of facts and straight presenting biased opinions as fact. Really fun game and the pacing at which new things are introduced is well done, keeps it from getting stale.
This game has the best gore mechanics in any game I have played.
7 is a good game, above average, not mediocre.
And for me 7, good game with friends in co-op having a good time, moves it to an 8 for me...if it's a 7 to begin with.

Come on man, time have changed, you can't possibly expect this when sales, player engagement and everything about gaming is at all time high. The proof is the pudding, that most gamers are connected and able to download small to large files, some people might not like it but they are in the minority and no industry in the world operate for the minority.

This is not new, tons of games even require a day one patch and without it, the game would be incomplete or very beta.
I can't possibly understand why this would keep you from playing a game you are excited about, I mean I understand the people who have data caps, but this game is no different than the 100s that require similar downloads.

When did 2mill million players have ever been considered doing bad for a new IP, with 0 marketing. 1 mill is usually a milestone for smaller projects like this.
