What if both launch with mostly the same 3rd party games and they all run better on the Series X, wouldn't that be a big factor for many people? There is also Gamepass with a lot of games available some will have Series X enhancements as well.
I'm not saying both systems will not have anything to offer as I am getting both, but seeing as we dont know what 1st party games will be there day 1 or the price like you ...

Playing Hellblade now and I'm living it..played some of it before, but kinda didnt give it my full attention, but now that im making time for it..its marvelous.
Playing it on PC gamepass ..the graphics are gorgeous and gameplay is different, intuitive and fun..
I hope 2 looks as good as the trailer shown.

Why do you keep mentioning Halo? It getting delayed seems to be the highlight of your year so far.
If you are saying it thinking that I'm like Halo's #1 fan you are soooooo off base it's not funny, while I enjoy almost the entire series , it's not my favorite game/s ..I love Bioshock and metroid primes way more..FP adventures.

The level of detail and animation is not in the same ballpark not to mention it moves at 30fps.
R&C is a superb looking game which could remind you of an early years Pixar movie..but so does Mario: Odyssey and Luigi's mansion 3. Key word is "Remind" you of it. same whimsical character types music styles and art styles....

While I like R&C and this entry looks great, Its kinda sad that this is the most talked about game for the most advanced tech consoles ever, even better than PC for the first time. The same Reason I bought the X and the Pro, I want to play the best any given game can be on Console. My friends will have it and we play together often, the Xbox could possibly offer the better, even if slightly superior versions of 3rd party games..calm down, I said possibly.
I'm always an early adopter of Consoles, I can afford it, I like shiny new things, I will have a second Xbox in the home, so me and my 2 boys dont have to share a screen, One on PC for cross-play...

With that said IMO the 3D Mario games were better and more fun that the games you listed and I like collecting stuff ,so I will buy it.
