Both systems can do it, they would just have to re-write the engine to make it happen on SX. Without any Re-write the SX version is 6k res.
Thing is that you would need an 8k T.V and of course HDMI 2.1, something that is not in reach for the larger population of gamers.

That sound so ridiculous if you think there is some major difference. The only real difference is that MS made a better purchase overall. This is not to diss Bluepoint as they are an excellent studio and I foresee great things from them. I like all their previous works, they even ported games to Xbox 360 before, does that count towards your not acquiring rules?

If you buy it on PC, they get money, if you buy it on console they get money.
They reach a broader audience that way, rather than being limited to one box. The way tech is and continuing to head, more option is what people like, streaming , different sub services, being able to play anywhere is a huge market and to limit yourself to one box is gonna be suicide eventually.

Depending on your rig, PC is almost always the best way to play multiplatform games. That goes for Sony's recent slew of PC games as well.

I disagree, and I actually played it and its so clean, sharp, buttery smooth with great texture work. Halo has never been the top graphics since Halo 2 imo, but boy does Infinite look good.
