They seem to be pretty cool, and very useful...for people who use headphones. Personally, I'm not much of a headphone guy, so I would find it hard to spend that kind of cash on these.
A great list of games with God of War III being my top pick. How awesome would some additional content for the game be? God of War is the kind of game that leaves you wanting more, so a little DLC would definitely go a long way.
Nice list. One of my favorites was always Hunter: The Reckoning. Sure, it was a little on the short side, but it was a heck of a lot of fun. Had fun playing single-player; had a total blast playing co-op!

Maybe it's because I have a high tolerance for mediocrity (I played Double Dragon III for hours on end despite hating it and actually passed the horrid Over the Hedge), but this actually looks kind of fun. KIND OF fun.
I was a very active GameSpot member at the time of Gerstmann's firing. CNET's actions pretty much prompted me to leave. I couldn't stand to be an active member on a site that treated one of their most popular editors so unfairly.
To be honest, I find that the Splatterhouse series doesn't hold up very well anymore. I've played the older games recently, and they're just not very fun anymore. They're overly simplistic, even for being beat 'em ups. I don't know how this new entry will do when it launches, but with so little time until its launch, I doubt the devs will be able to clean up all the bugs.
Been seeing many sites using this method over the past couple years. I'd say it works just as well as a 100-point scale and even a 5-point scale. At the end of the day, gamers should always read the review for all the details.
I'm so glad Mario Galaxy 2 and No More Heroes 2 were on there. They definitely deserve to be in a best of 2010 list for sure!
It seems most people prefer the DS versions of these games over the WiiWare downloads. It's a shame they didn't translate very well over to the Wii.

Just like the actual TNA wrestling promotion, the TNA video games leave much to be desired.
The article includes the Propeller Suit as an item that would be great to see in a new installment, perhaps a 3D Mario game rather than a side-scroller. It's not so much a traditional, long-time-away-then-comeback return, but just a return to a new game.
Haha I never really thought about it, but it is pretty funny that all of those games only have a one-word title. I guess "straightforward and to the point" is Id's credo.
