My personal favorite Mario side-scroller is Super Mario Bros. 3. I still play that game any chance I get. That said, I won't take anything away from the awesome Super Mario World.
Two different mediums, yet we still argue as if they fall under the same category. The way I see it, both mobile and console gaming provide something for their respective fan bases.
The pricing of these games seems about right.
This gave me a good chuckle. Man, there are some daft people out there.
What if the whole game looks like that? I suppose it would count as a teaser then, right? My assumption is that the whole game will be blurry.
And to answer your question, when creativity expired.
Surprisingly, Thor was actually good on the Wii and DS. Anyway, I'm glad I never paid money for any of these. One of my personal worst games of the year was Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny. How could such a promising entry in a great series get screwed up so bad?
Also, I feel like dropping $15 for Duke Nukem, but that seems like $14 more than I would like to pay for that game.
Shadows of the Damned and Outland were two of the best games I played this past summer. Seriously, if you haven't played them, don't miss out. Really awesome games. Great list overall.
Not bad. If only I had a Windows phone ...
Not bad. If only I had a PSP ...
Something always felt off about Super Mario Bros. 2. I mean, I thought it was a great game, but it wasn't very "Mario." Discovering it wasn't a real Mario game years later was crazy, but it made complete sense.
I love this game but so far the only DLC I've felt compelled to buy is that awesome shark gun.
Not sure if I would pick this up, but it looks like a solid buy for fans of Mahjong.
This turned out about how I expected. Obviously, the controls can be an issue at times, but at least the game plays great for the most part.
This article wins because of the sweet Shadows of the Damned reference.
Awesome game. Easily worth the original price tag, but if this doesn't get PC gamers to buy it, I don't know what will.
Ugh ... State of Emergency ... Just ... ugh.
There's a market for both. My problem is that mobile devs insinuate that console gamers would be fine if console gaming just went away. It's an asinine assumption, really.
I can actually see that playing nicely into a mission strand.
I have the physique of an Abercrombie model ... of course, that's years prior to becoming an Abercrombie model when he's still going through puberty.
The 3DS's launch lineup is what kept me from getting a 3DS, but that's just me. The impressive launch lineup for the Vita (and it is pretty damn good, mind you) may attract plenty of fans. That said, the handheld's high price tag may put off some individuals.
