You know I wish they would have just made some decent maps in the first place. Who doesn't love Lockout and Sidewinder but for 3 years of development I find it inexcusable that none of the launch maps were up to par.. shame on Bungie.

If this was a problem with the 360, it would have 200 comments, all with PS3 fans getting 30 agrees saying PSN is superior and costs nothing and you can guess the rest. Don't even try to act like that wouldn't happen, because that's reality. I don't condone this article or post at all but if the situation was reversed, there would be a dozen "Mr.Marbles" counterparts all with mass agrees.

I feel sad for people like you, why does it even matter what console someone plays a multi platform game on? Seriously sad man. Why do you feel the need to pledge devotion to a video game console at all? Let people buy whatever they want. It's a piece of hardware, go outside, get a job or get some friends, maybe a girlfriend.

These are bullshots which are either pre rendered, or the engine settings CRANKED for these stills.
Same with the motion blur samples.
Dont' expect anything this good from the ps3(yet)
Maybe the game runs 720p @ 4xAA but thats still pretty clean for 4x?

Add a fuc*ing custom games browser and people will come flocking back. Bungie is so stupid, they think releasing 2 low quality maps every 6 months for $10 bucks is going to make people care. Fix the bugs and make it so we can play customs with other people when are friends aren't online.

The original resistance multiplayer was pretty bad.. first off you die WAY too quick considering how much autoaim their is.. makes it so even little 10 year old's can aim
The truth is that is just too many people in a console game.. it makes the game fast paced but it's just boring spawning and dieing from getting shot in the back and since there's so much autoaim, the best Resistance players will still get killed by low skill players. GoW is good, but many games are better. The multiplayer matchmaking system killed the original imo.. it eventually devolved into a bunch of lonely preteens abusing host advantage versus randoms and lack of client side hit detection makes it retarded...
The problem with this game is that it's too ambitious.. the same reason both Black and White and the first fable failed. Peter Molywhatever just has a vision that is too broad to contain in any game, and his products will always be flawed because of this.
Wii sports is the third best selling video game of ALL TIME. It's sold more than the entire MGS franchise combined (Picked a random series). Wii is hardly maxed out, while hardcore gamers are going to pick it up for games like Super Smash Brothers and then stop buying it, the casual crowd will NEVER stop buying it. You need to give credit where credit is due. Realistically, the Xbox 360 (which is the only console I own) has no where left to go but down. PS3 just has too many killer apps ...
