Unfortunately for Blizzard, releasing new video games is going to lead to the slow demise of World of Warcraft. Starcraft II will take a chunk of the playerbase and any subsequent game they release will chip away it (Diablo 3 would kill WoW). Fortunately for us, they care more about their fans then money, otherwise they would just stick with WoW for the next decade.
The scans that I saw were scanned extremely poorly so I don't know how you can make such a harsh judgment(Or have better quality scans been released?). Regardless, based on the graphics of the original I would say it will be one of the best looking games across all platforms and it deserves more respect.

Why do people care about the rankings in CoD 4? Whoever plays the most will get the highest rank, it doesn't represent skill, just how much free time you have. Halo 3, an inferior game in my opinion, has a system that actually means something, if you get to level 50 it's because you are skilled, not everyone can get to 50. Double XP weekend is stupid for both games, in CoD 4 because XP is pointless, and for Halo 3 because it's restricted to one stupid playlist.

Halo 3 wasn't even 1/4 as good as it could have been. If you want a logical argument I'll give you one that is plausible, If the multiplayer is REALLY good people will choose the PS3 version over the 360 version because of free online. No one is surprised, photoshop is an amazing tool but it's just too expensive. No one would be pirating it if there was an affordable price point, or some kind of express version for students like Microsoft does with Visual Studio.
