More user-generated hype that was created by people who fall for RUMORS and then set themselves up for huge disappointments when they don't pan out. If anyone is to blame its fanboys and the internet for spiraling rumors out of control and then bashing Sony when they fail to deliver these made-up promises that people work themselves up for. I've learned by now to wait and see with anything, so what the heck is the deal here?
Yeah, real saintly and mature of ya buddy. EA does suck no matter what they get their hands on developing. Maybe years ago they were good but their pockets are so deep now they obviously are making screw ups due to blatant oversight. My friend couldn't believe the movie-like feel to this game, not to mention the graphical showcase of the whole thing.
PGR 4's graphics are awesome... I hope they can take the procedural weather effects to a whole new level in the next game.
The only thing that people are really complaining about with this game is the length, and like you just said, you managed to get more than the "quoted" length from it so that's all that matters.
Just like the Sony fanboys you bash, your 360 fanboy ways manage to sneak in a jab at a rival game.

Even at the resolution that those images are at, you can tell there is no real discernible difference between the 360 and PS3 versions.
When this game comes out i'll give it a rent to see if I like it or not...
This game looks SWEET
Sure, it's short. But the 7 or so hours of the main game are some of the most intense moments that i've played in a game in some time. I love the cinematic approach of this game; sometimes i'd rather play something that impacts me on a personal level even if my time with it is short.
Much better than playing a 15-20 hour game that doesn't leave me thinking about it long after I have turned it off, IMO.
Not because of any personal bias, but I really believe that IGN dropped the ball when the posted the exact same review for the PS3 version of the game as opposed to completely re-reviewing the game.
That was just journalistic laziness - it's good to see that Gamespot didn't follow suit.

he doesn't bash anything or make a jackass out of himself like everyone has been portraying the general actions of Free Radical over HAZE. He's just honest and to the point and answers the questions in a frank manner; doesn't beat around the bush, which is refreshing.

That looks like a cross between Bioshock and Resident Evil! I will be keeping my eye closely glued to this game in the next coming months and hope to recieve my issue on time so I can read about this game.
Here's hoping EA doesn't f*ck up this game like they seem to manage to do with their sports titles.
This game is just what I need to pass the time seeing as how I am always looking for some good poker practice. Nice to see more than just Texas Hold 'Em, though that's a great version!
