edit: That was not a jab at the shooter genre. IREM made many memorable shooters, including the R-Type games, Gunforce and In the Hunt, a little-known arcade game turned PSX port. IREM also made 10-Yard Fight, the famous football game released on the MSX computer system back in the 80's.
PC's aren't going anywhere, and neither are consoles. This crap grows old quick.

It doesn't matter if the lead developer from Team Silent is overseeing the actual development team for this game, they are still a different developer with a different vision of how the SH storyline and environments should come together.

I used to play them a lot when I was younger. Haven't touched them in years though, especially because I need a new power adapter for my 2600.

Don't know if it's ever going to turn out true or not, though.
Anyway, that's pretty sweet. It's only natural that they would use a PS pad for that because of the excellent D-Pad design, making it a good choice for 2-D gaming. I used to use my PS3 pad a lot when I would use my SNES emulator and it worked great .

I think in another couple months i'll upgrade to a better card, maybe the 9800 or something if I can find a good deal. Hopefully by christmas or new year's, they will have all sorts of sales, so I can upgrade for cheaper than I could at the current time.
