Funny because 3 was my favorite before San Andreas came out, although Vice City features my favorite soundtrack out of the 3. Subjective opinion of course, but I do disagree with you on the "way too dark and gritty" comment. That's what gave the first "next-gen" GTA such charm. Those dark and foggy nights roaming around Liberty City were some of the best moments in my eyes. Did you think the vehicle acceleration was poor upon first playing the game, or only after you p...
Isn't this expected now? Why do we keep seeing articles with every game featuring news like this, with a thousand comments from people acting surprised as if disparity is somehow an unexpected occurrence? More trolling for hits on N4G, more heat, more chaos and controversy...
The core physics and game mechanics are still very poor. GTA V fixed the driving and made the series more of a next-gen attempt than IV. IV is still buggy as hell and feels like a beta for what GTA V became.
I agree on the mod potential for V, though. The enhanced engine technology and remastered assets will fit in nicely on PC. If I didn't have such an outdated rig I'd consider buying it for PC, but since I have other life priorities and I've already purchased a ...
Dunno why people are so obsessed with IV. It was one of the worst GTA games I've played.
"The Xbox One has superior online. Fewer dropped games, less problems over all."
"I'm ... playing mostly online on PS4."
Sort of contradictory, don't you think?
Correction, he has an eye, but it's one brown eye with a bit of crud obscuring his vision. Maybe that's why his post was such sh!t?
They are pretty similar, especially when looking at that YouTube video.
Sega Rally was arguably better than Ridge Racer was at the time. I didn't truly love a Ridge Racer title until I played R4 late in the PlayStation's lifecycle.
Sega still had many cool games that you couldn't get anywhere else, and you named a hell of a lot of them. I remember owning the original PlayStation yet being envious that I couldn't play House of the Dead or Panzer Dragoon.
Yeah, I always remember having an admiration for the Saturn. I remember being able to play all my favorite arcade titles as I remember them from their cabinet versions, which was quite helpful that Sega had such a presence in the arcade industry at the time. I remember the Power VR collaboration, and how many great titles came off that.
Even though I enjoy what Sony brought to the table, I can't deny what Sega did for the games industry as a whole. Long live the Saturn, ...
lol, Maxor, a huge PC fanboy, calling out others on being a fanboy, defending his fellow PC fanboys from the ultimate rage of Playstation Fanboys. I'm sure there's some irony in there somewhere, but since I only really care enough to reply using my last bubble, I'll just leave this here.
Guess you're so far evolved above us console peasants, eh Maxor? How's that mighty uber PC rig gaming throne room treating you? Did you also get lost along the way to Red...
Kaizin, finally someone who is logical and objective without sounding like a complete hater. Knack is a solid 7/10 and even though I don't own it, from what I've played it is FAR, FAR from the worst game ever. If you appreciated Crash Bandicoot, you should enjoy Knack.
NuggetsOfGod, all you do is troll every Sony / console article ever. Take your troll behavior and head on back over to Reddit's PC forum. You seriously add NOTHING constructive to ANY conversation, especially when you consistently make it a point to let Sony fans see how much of a PC fanboy you are.
FromTheAshes, that was one of the dumbest PC rebuttal posts I've seen in a long time. And way to completely invalidate your post by saying you got some things for free, which totally makes you appear as though you are missing the point.
LOL
And if the system gets a game worth playing, they scream "OUYA / INDIE GAMEZ!!! LOL, I'M SUCH AN ORIGINAL TROLL!!!"
Can't win, but it doesn't matter when you're dealing with immature trolls. Just downbubble accordingly and move on.
At first I glanced over the article, didn't even read the "Pratchett" part and thought to myself, "I didn't know that Rhianna was a huge Tomb Raider fangirl!". It all makes more sense with a little more effort in attention to detail on my behalf.
Heck yeah, I strongly believe that randomly generated dungeons would work strongly in the game's favor due to its action game play style.
Hopefully the loot variety will match the environment possibilities.
This article / website / author is terrible tripe. So now we are classifying consensual sex as rape? I can see a problem with destroying the hooker afterwards, but that's beside the point. I am going to assume the author is an ignorant liberal douche who likes to make up controversial statements for the sake of attention.
Come on, no need to use the term Xbot. It's as annoying as when people use the term SonyDroid.
And what if the XOne is their only system? At least they can still enjoy the game.
Remember the days when DLC added full gaming experiences and not just unlocked skin packs / weapons / etc.? The days when all that stuff could be unlocked via a cheat code now give way to keeping content on lock down unless you pay $9.99 for a 10KB download magically freeing up content already on the disc you paid for.
Shoddy DLC practices by companies such as UbiShaft and Electronic Assholes are a cancer on the gaming industry and have spread throughout to all companies once...
