anyway, seems likely that they're going to announce a new sku of some kind. then again, with Halo Reach on the way, and the massive profits bound to follow, it would make sense that MS would want to dramatically increase the install base. could be both. E3 isn't far off.

i just played through the demo twice and thought it was a lot of fun. and i don't think he's clunkier than before. once you adjust to the new controls, it's as smooth as ever. and you can get real strategic with the mark and execute.
also, you can go about things in different ways. play through once, see one thing, play through it again, see it completely differently. that is a helluva lot more than i can say about most of the games that have been getting undeserved praise f...

i made the decision to buy gow 3 last night about 30 minutes before midnight largely because of that article i read where he said it would take the avg person 14-16 hours.

It was 'The Fall of Reach' book that made me actually think Halo would translate well into a movie. Easily the best story of the series. we'll see how the game adds to it.
