Destination Playstation is a publisher event where SONY talks about ways to streamline getting your products out on the SONY platforms, how to cut submission times, etc. Sometimes there is talk about changes to royalty structure, production etc. They dont announce games at this, at least not when I was going. its a sales/production conference.
I really don't like the new store, I thought I'd get used to it, find out how to navigate better, but no, it sucks. It looks nice, but you can't find crap, nothing is in any real order, everything is all mish mashed, why does each item have to have its own huge icon? it takes forever to find anything , when you go through the add-on section and get to "L" it takes 20 minutes to scroll through all the Little big planet crap alone...for the love of venus combine game conte...
January 29th.... no need to click
Delayed.... Bioshock in Feb ....TR in March
Really??? A year later?? Where was this 6 months ago? Shouldn't you be trying finish DOOM at this stage?
Why the hell was Grand Theft Auto III not even mentioned for game of the decade???? Love it or hate it , it completely redefined playing video games, how they were perceived and pretty much defined a NEW genre of action and adventure. Not saying Half life 2 didn't deserve it, that game changed the face of shooters and sci fi story telling. C'mon though not even mentioned??? But nomintated Wii Sports. REALLY?????
Ragnarock Odyssey is pretty good at filling that,
he's just mad because his mom said she wouldn't buy him one for Christmas.....
I might care if it was free....in typical fashion they'll do their game of the year "complete" edition with everything on it....which would be cheaper than buying all the stupid DLC anyway, Fallout New Vegas Ultimate is $30 for $45 or more of DLC on the store.....Bethesda are just money grubbers... save your $$$ people....not buying it sends the message you dont like their practices
I think the Vita is poised to hit big IF, and thats it , IF Sony handles it properly. (1) Making the Vita backwards compatible with the PSP is great, but all those people who bought UMD's are SOL, make ALL the downloadable PSP games on the PS Store $9.99 or less, it sucks that we have to buy them again for the Vita, don't rape us for them, paying $39.99 for Tekken is utter ridiculousness. (2) Include a memory card and/or lower the price, just like #1, we know you need to make $, just ...
the deal of the week is at Target this week ....buy 2 get 1 free
No games for the Vita.... that's pretty funny
It's a coupon to join Xbox Live Veterans, for an additional $10 a month, you can have preferential treatment in any online game...
Ditto....and even though all companies are out to make $$$ and loads of it, Sony cares about its customer and values the $ you just gave it, and wants to make sure you enjoy what they just sold you for a long time so you come back again to buy their next product as well.....brand loyalty
I own both a 360 and an original Xbox, I loved the 1st Xbox, lots of new and original stuff, yeah I may have been peeved they squoze my beloved Sega out of the market, taking everything the ...
starting it this weekend cant wait...........
The biggest problem with 3D is it came out a few years after HDTV became the norm, so everyone went out and bought a new TV, and now all these companies turn around and say, oh sorry now you have to buy another TV for 3D, and people said "No Thanks" if it happened all at once it would be big but it didn't and the general consumer wont toss a perfectly fine TV they bought a yr ago for the latest and greatest. Hell, I bought a great 1080P DLP in '08 and also bought it because ...
Oh yeah, I can totally do that on either my laptop or PS3, but I just like having all that gaming goodness at the swipe of my finger...
:-)-
Hopefully Sega will keep the Warhammer coming, I'd like to see a sequel to Space Marine, I thought it was a good game, good story. Fix a couple of minor gameplay issues and you got a superb game on your hands... Sad to see what happened to THQ, I liked alot of the games....
