You still get 1:1 motion, movement in 3D space and 1:1 racket motion are different features, this is the reasoning coming from AM3 themselves.
Also the real issue with something like Wii sports was that no matter how you swing it's the same outcome here you get to move closer to the net and direct your shot. Not providing free motion with a stick is a reasonable compromise.
Because you aren't holding a nav controller on your second hand while playing real tennis. It seems reasonable to me, you can still reach for the ball just not move in the court. Worked fine on Wii sports.

There will undoubtedly be a slider version as that was the original intention. No download only variant however, no reason to make one with the flash cards. And if the Go has taught them anything it's that the world isn't 100% ready to abandon physical media yet.
From a design perspective the GO was a beast of a handheld.
Eh, the series doesn't sell that great in the west to begin with. MS paid them good money to make it a timed 360 exclusive, funds they used on the definitive PS3 version. I think i may import that in the near future for my PS3 although i've heard that TOV wasn't that great. (alternatively i could get the 360 version for dirt cheap these days but meh)
No matter how stupid Scamco are i think they know what sort of sh*tstorm will ensue if they tease us like that only to reveal something else. I think they are bringing this over in order to establish a tales fanbase in the west on the PS3 for when/if they release Xilia although that may be wishful thinking.

Well 3D is a totally useless addition imo. It should stick to cinema and TV. I don't really see the point of 3D on a tiny low-res screen.. Not to mention that it introduces more problems than it's worth. (devs have to decide between 3D, using the touch screen for the main interface or using the motion controls which to me is daft)
I am getting a 3DS but 3D stays off.

It doesn't have to be a ploy, if the game is heavily tessellated Nvidia has a performance advantage in the bag due to their superior architecture. (and i'd wager Crysis 2 will use tessellation to a great extent) If anything Nvidia is smart in advertising their products that way since Crysis 2 will be the game that everyone will be using with benchmarks for a couple of years after it hits.
If it weren't for the 32x and as a result the Saturn failures i doubt that the Dreamcast would have had the same fate. DC had some solid numbers at it's begining but Sega couldn't afford to fight off the PS2 hype after the terrible hit they had taken.
