I have ran into him and I still havent beaten...
I am going to buy that. Love Lovecraft to death. I need Guillermo DelToro to make At the Mountains of Madness like he was supposed to a few years ago.
Bloodborne is my Lovecraftian nightmare come true. Love the absolute hell out of this game. PS Fu** those enemies outside Castle Cainhurst haha.
I really think this may all be a ruse and Kojima is being influenced by his 1984 theme for MGSV. Kojimas identity is being erased in a way by the powers that be which would be Konami or Big Brother and his sense of self no longer exists. I hope i'm right lol.
Gross.
David Hayter also wrote that letter saying that he isn't in the game on April fools last year so I don't buy this.
Nope.
Yea seriously. I played the game when it first came out in 1997 at age 13-14 and I have never played a game as epic as FF7 and after I got to near the end of Midgar I thought I may be close to finishing only to find that I had a MASSIVE adventure ahead of me that I would never forget. I miss my first FF7 experience. I still play it once a year and never gets old.
It fits with the 1980's theme of the game.
He seriously used those exact words?. This guy is a joke.
Oh hell yes!!. Praise the moon my fellow hunters. I can't wait to pick up my copy tomorrow.
Oh man I can't wait to check out the reviews. Tomorrow is going to be amazing. I don't have to work for the next few days hehe. Praise the moon.
I'm pretty sure that warping to larger monsters backs and different areas of their bodies will be possible in the final game. I remember Tabata talking about that.
@wsoutlaw87: Wow dude are you being purposely obtuse or what?. Did I say even once that the whole game is somehow ruined for me because of the katana being revealed?. I said nothing of the sort. I have already explained why I said what I said so go reread it if you don't understand it. The amount of agrees that I have says otherwise to your comment about the vast majority not caring about spoilers in article titles by the way.
I already explained in my comment what it spoiled and why I thought he shouldn't put specific names of items and things in the title. As a huge Souls fan part of the fun is exploring the rich worlds that FromSoft and Myazaki create and finding all sorts of unique and interesting weapons and I don't like knowing what all the loot in the game is before I play it. Also your comment " it's pretty obvious there will be swords of different types in the game." is missing the en...
I'm almost positive the embargo lifts on Monday. I expect a lot of really high scores for this. All of the hands on impressions I have seen have given nothing but glowing praise for Bloodborne. Tuesday needs to hurry the hell up.
I really don't want to hear about every single weapon and outfit in the game and I feel that far too many have been spoiled this way.
Hey abrael I really love your articles and I'm not trying to sound rude but can you please not put spoilers in your titles anymore?.
Edit: Let me clarify that what I mean is that putting name of the weapon in the title is considered a spoiler for many people. We would rather not know there is a katana until we find it in the game. Would have been nice to stumble upon it and be surprised.
@WCxAlchemist: Sorry to burst your bubble but Bloodborne is in fact a survival horror RPG. It looks to me like Resident Evil 2 and Nighmare Creatures had a baby. In a lot of instances you are forced to run away from enemies because you can be killed so easily and you don't have any regenerating health because you need consumables which can run out to heal which is where the survival element comes in. The city of Yharnum is a gothic horror influenced city with Lovecraftian elements added i...
This was amazing. That was truly a treat for my ears.
