Gehrman The Last Hunter was my favorite on this list. Senator Armstrong is a close second.
Then you have impossible standards buddy. I will never understand people like you that think nothing is ever good enough.
Yea this,THe Order, Bloodborne really show what the PS4 can do and this is only the beginning. When finished FFXV will also be a visual spectacle you can be sure. It's definitley an exciting time to be a gamer.
I don't give a damn if something can artificially make a game look better with mods it doesn't mean shit. I always hated every time a new ps3 game came out and looked gorgeous some PC elitist would come along and try to say how shitty it looked and post pictures of Crysis that have been heavily modded and claim that a game from 2007 looks much better than a game from 2012 when the vanilla version most certainly didn't look that good. Wow so you can mod a game with hundreds of peop...
Very impressive. CDProjekt truly are wizards when it comes to programming. This is unreal honestly.
Uh oh. Here come the petitions again.
Lol at your disagrees. I don't see why anyone would down vote you for that comment when there is clear evidence in this video that the PS4 is in fact a powerful console and capable of face melting graphical fidelity. The Witcher 3 looks gorgeous on the PS4. Day one for me.
@PurpHerbison: I said I wasn't talking about the combat not the "gameplay". Combat isn't the only thing you do in games. If all you got out of Bloodborne was a bunch of hack and slash action then you clearly missed the point of the game and you missed out on the horror because you didn't care enough to try to understand it.
Oh hell yes. A Castlevania spiritual successor is most welcome.
You don't seem to understand what I'm saying along with a lot of people here in the comments section. I'm not referring to the combat in any way. I'm talking about the story, atmosphere, exploration, lore, world etc. It is a frightening experience if you actually take the time to use your brain and piece together the clues you get into what is going on. Not all horror is about jump scares. This is one of the greatest horror experiences I have ever had. Oh fyi horror games at the...
This game is absolutely a horror RPG. The game play alone is frightening enough but when you really delve into the story and lore around what is happening then you really start to feel extremely disturbed and unsettled. Scariest cosmic horror I have ever experienced. Bloodborne is an incredibly deep horror experience just like Silent Hill.
@-Foxtrot:Solid isn't an exact clone of BB buddy and neither is Liquid and they don't sound alike either. Solidus was the most perfect clone of BB and he didn't sound like him either so your "He's a clone...how does it not make sense" statement falls apart. Also I never overpraised Kiefer at all so I don't know where you are getting that.
@Kryptonite Tail: Solid didn't look identical to BB he looked more like a son with a strong resemblance a...
Dude Richard Doyle is 70 years old. He is far too old to play Big Boss in the 1980's.
Did you not read the article?. Everyone who has been working with him on MGSV has said how passionate he is and just an all around great guy to work with. I and many others think he sounds incredible as Big Boss and is the perfect actor to play him. Hayter should never have been used to play BB in the first place because it makes no sense for him to sound identical to Solid Snake. None of the other clones sounded like him either. Hayter will most likely be in the game playing SS anyways. Sayi...
No shame in it. I am buying DS2 Scholar of the First Sin next week. I really like DS2 to be honest and now I get to play it with shiny graphics upgrades and higher frame rate along with all the DLC. Sounds good to me.
I bet this is going to be FF16.
@mixelon: I wasn't saying that BB was a substitute for SH but that they draw from a lot of the same inspiration although in different ways and they share a lot of psychological themes. I agree that at least stylistically Siren is more comparable to SH though.
It is psychological Cosmic Horror game. Trust me. Game play wise of coarse it isn't like SH but there are quite a few themes that are similar. I think the comparisons have some merit to them although not completely.
Did you even play Bloodborne or are you just saying you did?. While I wholeheartedly disagree with the guy you responded to about Silent Hill being forced(which is just utter f***ing nonsense) I agree about Bloodborne being a horror game. Once you start to uncover it's mysteries then you understand how disturbing and unsettling the game is. Lovecraftian Cosmic horror done right. Did you just play through the game without reading your item descriptions and not talking to NPC's?.
This so awesome. What an amazing cast of actors. I am really looking forward to this.
